5th Nov. Thursday.

Riele's POV.

It happened again. I absolutely can't get my mind off it. Last night, Vida showed herself to me again using the same tactic and creating a sense of déjà vu within me. I'm getting really scared and annoyed by it.

I don't get the game she's playing with me. Everyone is worried about her, but she seems to be playing hide and seek with me.

I wonder how disastrous things we go before she decides to completely show her face.

I looked around as I arrived at school. A familiar face caught me in my tracks. There was a brooding surprise on my face and a look of awe like someone who is still tantalized by how a chameleon changes its color.

He walked up to me. "I've been waiting for you."

I furrowed my brows at the statement. He's been waiting for me?

"D...Dean? I stuttered still boxed in surprise.

He nodded. "I don't remember you being a stammerer, but yeah. There is no face like mine."

It's nice he still has his sense of humor. I thought, staring at him from up t

Riele's POV.Standing in front of my window, I rested my elbows on my window sill, and looked up at the sky, mainly gazing at the beautiful stars in it, and their constellations.Sometimes I wish I could see Orion's belt constellation from where I stood, and how beautiful it shines, and also the big dipper, but I couldn't. It doesn't matter though since I love forming my constellations, and always stare at them.Normally, stargazing calms me down. It makes me feel free adding to the cold evening air. Stargazing helps me forget my problems, but for some reason, it couldn't help my whole body from being restless. It couldn't help me forget that I have a pending problem.Though seeing Dean today was a bit relaxing. I'm glad there isn't any dispute between us. I'd be lucky if this time we become friends, and I know that's what he always wanted, but with how things are going, I don't know.My ears alerted as they heard sounds, and instinctively, I looked away from the cloud, and back to th

Riele's POV.Entering the station, I was thoroughly searched in an annoying way in the waiting room. They took my phone and the car keys which happened to be the only thing on me.I felt stiff, and sad about all that was going on. It's hard to process."All done. Nothing more on her." The woman searching for me said. The familiar female cop nodded and turned to me. "I'll be the one taking you to the interrogation room. My partner is already waiting for you so follow me." She said and started walking towards what seemed to be the administrative office. The cops in it were busy going through documents, and pieces of information.I sighed and followed."Isn't that Veronica Evan's daughter?" I heard a woman ask."She's the one that was caught in the address provided to us?" Another woman asked in disbelief."It's not surprising. My daughter always says bad things about her." A woman said.I scoffed. I didn't know there are gossip in police stations, though the words coming out of their mo

"You know how fast I am with my work, Donald."Donald nodded. "Yeah, and that's good, Justin. So, what's your analysis?""Well, I investigated, and found out what was used on the dissolved body.""What was used?" Donald asked curiously."Denatured alcohol, antacid tablets, and water." He answered."Aren't those supposed to be for preservation?" Donald asked again.Justin nodded. "Supposedly, but when mixed wrongly, it's corrosive. It turns whatever specimen you have to sludge.""So does the specimen proves it's Vida?"Justin nodded. "A lot of her DNA was found in it.""Her DNA?"Justin nodded again. "Hairs, nails, and even her clothes. Probably the clothes she wore." He said pointing at where it was kept.Donald walked closer to it. "Her zombie costume.""Apart from that, her blood was equally found

My eyes wandered away from the wall, and around my current location.A steel bar by my right, and sleeping people by my left, then it dawned on me. I'm in jail. "There is a lot of evidence we have against your daughter, Mrs. Evans, and besides, the mother of the deceased doesn't agree to it, and she'll soon arrive too."My mom clenched her jaw. "My daughter isn't a murderer.""But that isn't what the pieces of evidence prove, and without a lawyer, your daughter isn't getting out of police custody." He said.My mom's face fell and looked at me with a sad expression."I'm sorry madam,

Everywhere has been chaotic upon hearing Riele's fate. The news about her arrest has been spreading like wildfire. There were no good words about it. She isn't all that bad the way people picture her. DONALD CARTER POV.As a detective, I've never found things easy before. Every murder case is hard to crack which is the way it should be. But this Vida case comes too easy, that it alone is suspecting.Everything just seemed so connected, perfect, but suspect at the same time.Vida storming off. Vida kidnapped. Vida dead. Three things connected so perfectly, but still didn't seem right.Vida stormed off, and Riele followed. What happened between the two of them that Vida ended up kidnapped? How could Riele kidnap Vida? What did Vida really do to Riele that Riele decided such a fate for her? What's her reason? What's her purpose? It all just doesn't seem right.I only wish hope is on her side. Riele has no evidence that can at least counter one evidence against her.The message she said she was sent wasn't even found, but for some reason, I know she couldn't have lied about it.Although, it's unrealistic when she said she saw Vida alive. That would mean she's crazy, but one thing I kno

DEAN'S POV."Wow. So, this is the place you guys had fun." I said looking around in awe."Yeah. The place is very big. Jordan's family rented it." Dennis replied.I nodded, then looked at him. "Back to business. Did you notice anything that night after Vida left?"Dennis furrowed his brows. "What thing? I only saw Vida left, and I sure as hell didn't follow."I sighed. "Honestly, I don't even know where to start in searching for clues. This place is big." I confessed looking around again. The place is a huge land close to a beach, and I was told a really huge tent was built upon it. Jordan's family really did it this time. How am I really gonna find clues when they've completely tidied the place up?"But you must have come for a purpose. There must be something in mind." Dennis said.I looked at him and nodded. "Yeah. I wanted to know if there would be a piece of evidence that proves someone saw Riele with Jules the night Vida stormed off."Dennis chuckled. "Why not ask Jules?""Jules

Knock. Knock." Ashley knocked. We stood there without words as we patiently waited for an answer, but believe me, I'm not patient. I really wanna see the truth. Mrs. Ortega opened the door widely, and he entered.Walking in, he stopped in his tracks and turned to face Mrs. Ortega. She furrowed her brows. "Aren't you gonna sit?"He shook his head. "No. I didn't come to sit. I just came to inform you of all that's going on." He told her."Is she finally going to court, so I can hire a prosecuting attorney on her?" Mrs. Ortega asked expectantly.Mr. Carter sighed. "Not yet. There are still more to follow up on. We need witnesses to prove if she's been weird since your daughter disappeared.""But she is weird. What are the odds that Riele is seeing my daughter's ghost? It is because she killed her, and is being hunted."Mr. Carter nodded. "That could help, but where it'll end her is in a psychiatric home."Mrs. Ortega shook her head disagreeably. "

Is that right?"I nodded."Do you know that could make you crazy?" He asked."But it's the truth.""You really saw her?"I nodded. "I won't lie if I didn't.""Do you have anyone to prove your statements?" Sadness overwhelmed me at the question. "No.""And there is no evidence to prove where you were on that Halloween night?"I sighed. "There is, but she lied.""You mean Jules Simmons, right?"I nodded."Why would she lie?""She doesn't like me, and I never liked her. We were actually quarreling that night."
