This was a term used to define a place where large amounts of negative energy of any kind gather.
Not all lands with negative energy can be called ominous lands.
Usually, ominous lands are naturally born due to outside interference and it takes countless years for any land to accumulate enough negative energy to be considered an ominous land. the requirements for this are fairly strict.
In the case of an ominous land of death, it is a place where countless deaths had taken place over a long period of time to the extent that the death energy generated had reached a point where it is no longer possible to purify or dissipate naturally.
The death energy that should have filled this land completely was instead hidden deep in the earth where it would absorb and nurture undead creatures leaving only a physical manifestation in the form of deep dark fog. That was the only way to explain things and in most cases, there would be no

Hello everyone, it's your favorite author here. So this is where this book will be ending for now. The story is not over for Arran and his companions. There are many more adventures to share with everybody. But I decided to end this book here because I felt that it had reached a mature point and it was time to evolve the story to something more. From the sequel book onwards, it will no longer just be a story about a boy searching for answers alone but Arran will be accompanied by other main characters from my other stories. So for those who haven't read any of my other stories, you should really give it a try. Arran was sucked away into the void fissure which closed immediately after, but not before Poltergeist had managed to latch onto his thigh for whatever reason. Seeing Poltergeist clinging onto him, Arran was confused before suddenly developing the urge to retort vehemently. But he wouldn’t have that time for things were just starting to go very wrong.
