In the Aeth civilization, there were two popular trees whose legends and stories were passed down through the generations. The first of these trees is Illys, the tree of life and death and reincarnation.

Set on an island the tree is said to be surrounded by a perpetually flowing circular river whose waters are said to grant one immunity from sickness and disease and can prolong one's lifespan. It is also said that any who can cross Illys’ River would be granted eternal life while those who failed would forever be laid to rest below its shores.

The second tree which is even more popular than the first is known as the Immortal Ent tree.

The Immortal Ent is said to be the first living thing born from the breath of the Primordial light god. Taking the form of a tree, it possessed unlimited vitality and life force which it used to nurture all life on the Etherium, becoming the symbol of life and Earth.

Unlike Illys whose location is shrouded in mystery, the Immortal Ent tree is loc

Eris, sabers in hand was like a reaper on the battlefield harvesting lives in droves. Her fighting style was direct and domineering, charging directly into the thick of it unafraid of any attempts to encircle her. And truly, Eris wasn’t afraid of this at all. Reason being that her sabers possessed a powerful law effect that was unreasonable… her attacks could not be blocked. That’s right. True to the fashion of a harvester, Eris’ Beleufaen could not be stopped or blocked by any defense. They could ignore armor and any form of defense and could only be evaded. They were true armor breakers! But this wasn’t the only reason Eris was fearless before the encirclement of her enemies. The second ability of her natal weapon was the real crowd killer. In a chaotic battle like this where the enemies outnumber her, even if she could kill indiscriminately, it was impossible for Eris to not be surrounded by the sheer numbers of her enemies. But should this happen, Eris had the means to dif

It wasn’t enough to have a barrier to protect yourself in Charmy’s territory. Even if your domain was strong enough to allow you to reach Charmy, it was still useless. That is because 100 meters around Charmy is the absolute death zone that nobody can cross. Charmy’s combat style differed from Eris and Arran both of whom were close combat fighters. Her style closely mirrored that of mages. Powerful mages were at their strongest within their magic towers which served as their territory. Inside it, they can unleash devastating might from the scores of prepared magical spells and traps. The same was true for Charmy. Within the ocean created by the Charm Speaker’s Crown, subatomic nanamites were simply the first layer of abilities prepared for battle. 100 hundred meters around Charmy was where things started to get truly dangerous. This zone was covered by droves of whirlpools twisting around in tandem to create powerful ocean currents that acted forcefully on one’s body, forcing them

Aarrgh! “Kasack you coward! Come down here and face me. Let us end this once and for all!” Arran’s cry rang throughout the battlefield, the ripples of his voice mixed with his spiritual fluctuations reaching everybody’s ears. For a moment, it seemed like the battlefield fell silent as multiple pairs of eyes belonging to various dark creatures and monsters turned to look at Arran. In their eyes, disdain and loathing could be seen and their thoughts were filled with laughter at the words Arran had just said. It was as if they were laughing at arran for the audacious words he had spoken and the courage it had taken to utter them. What gave Arran the right to challenge Kasack? This was the prevailing thought going through the minds of the dark creatures. It was like seeing a child waving a stick at a bear and challenging it to a sword fight. Nobody would think the child was being courageous. Instead, they would think that he was foolishly courting death. Not only was it amus

The world was lightless, swallowed by a void of deep creeping darkness that expunged all warmth, casting a chilling shadow over the entire battlefield. Arran’s attack was like the end of days for all, a desperate attempt to end all life by all means necessary. The 10X effect of Death Bringer was on another scale such that it covered almost the entire battlefield including Kasack’s position at the center of the formation. This instant death ability which was mostly single target in nature had been transformed into a wide sweeping attack after accumulating 10 counts of Death Bringer charge during the fight, a feat that was easy to accomplish due to the sheer number of enemies throwing their lives at Arran. Before now, Arran didn’t know he could do this. But in his desperation to cull the number of enemies down attacking him and his companions and strike down Kasack once and for all, arran was forced to attempt a risky move. Surprisingly, stacking Death Bringer counts was feasibl

  • Kingsman Return   Kasack’s Shame

Kasack had a dream… that he was cast adrift on a boundless void ocean with darkness all around him and the light of the stars unable to reach him at all. Everything was peaceful yet the silence was desolate. In that dream, Kasack instinctively knew he was dead at least his mind told him that he was, yet his soul like a ship without anchors floated unmoored in an endless haze of darkness unable to find rest. Kasack didn’t know how long he had spent wandering the haze in his dream. It felt like an instant but also like a billion light years had gone by when a presence suddenly reached into the darkness calling out to him. Sigh! A sigh filled with ancient vicissitudes was the only thing the presence uttered yet it set the void ocean a-storm, causing tides to surge and Kasack’s soul to tremble vigorously. When Kasack opened his eyes next, the darkness had disappeared, his eyes filling with light as the scene of the battlefield became clear to him. Before Kasack, there was only h

As soon as the darkness receded, Arran’s and Kasack’s figures were revealed. In the entire 5-kilometer area surrounding Arran, only the of them remained. The rest had all seen their bodies completely vaporizing along with their souls under Arran’s attack. Kasack’s body was motionless and while he seemed alright physically, there didn’t appear to be any signs of life within him at all. Noticing this, Arran was incredulous. He could scarcely believe what he was seeing at all. ‘Have I succeeded? Did I kill him, truly?’ Arran was in doubt. He found it difficult to believe that he had managed to actually kill Kasack… this formidable enemy. Not only Arran but the others on the battlefield. When they — Aeth, humans, and dark creatures — saw Kasack’s body remaining unmoving after appearing from the blank patch of darkness formed from Arran’s attack, they were dumbfounded, frozen, and a little shell-shocked from disbelief as they all considered an absurd possibility. ‘Is this truly

“You deserve death!” “All of you deserve death!!!” Kasack in his fury exploded like a loose fuse igniting a stack of dynamite. His aura explosively surged outward affecting everybody on the battlefield including his army. The sudden turn of events caught everybody off guard. Arran and his allies weren’t so shocked as they expected some form of retaliation from Kasack. But the dark creatures and monsters were shocked by the sudden outflow of murderous intent surging towards them. They didn’t know how to react to Kasack’s declaration of death upon everybody, unable to tell if he was referring to them or their enemies. One dark creature that was relatively closer to Kasack — a daemon breed of some kind that possessed superior intelligence compared to the others in the army — stepped forward to ask sychophantly. “Lord, are you feeling alright? Should we resume our assault on the enemies?” Dark creatures and monsters unlike evil entities like vengeful souls and spirits were character

The blood sea surged forward, washing through the crowd like a flood. The dark creatures and monsters closest to Kasack were the first to bear the impact. Turning illusions into reality — this is one of the hallmarks of a Shade Lord’s ability. The blood sea washed over the dark creatures on the battlefield, drowning them. Ghostly specters of fallen beings emerged from the blood sea emitting hair-raising and blood-curdling wails that sent shivers through those who heard it, leaving them frozen in shock. Then from within the blood sea broken limbs leaped out, latching onto the stunned victims they attacked and pulled them into the depths of the blood sea. The dark creatures were unable to resist. After losing their ability to move, their bodies were grabbed by different hands whose sharp claws dug into their flesh as if to dig out their organs. Severed legs leaped out of the blood sea kicking at them with powerful force, breaking every bone in their bodies and heads like ravenous

The space within the void fissure was just that… a literal void where nothing existed but the vast expanse of space. But the stability of this void was seriously compromised allowing for multiple fractures in space and time to open up in the surrounding void. For instance, how would Soran ensure Arran’s victory if he was up against a god as a mere mort

It was the strongest legacy left behind by the old one which could not be inherited directly. This power was only meant to be used at the critical time of the conflict with the Aeth civilization. It was Kasack’s greatest trump card one that he was reluctant to ever use. Yet at this moment, In the face of death, Kasack unleashed this power knowing full well the repercussions of his action.
