Just now as Arran was playing around with Charmy and Eris while also keeping an eye on the other group, he suddenly felt something and he turned to look at the other side.
That was when he saw Clyde looking at him with a fierce gaze.
Arran could have sworn that he saw naked killing intent revolving in Clyde's eyes but before he could dwell further on this the killing intent in his eyes disappeared and all that was left was cold indifference.
Charmy who noticed Arran's abnormal behavior asked him, "What's happened?"
"Is everything alright?"
At first, Arran did not answer since he was still thinking about the killing intent that Clyde had previously displayed.
If he was not wrong Arran felt that the killing intent was directed directly at himself only and not the whole group, but that begged the question... Arran had never met Clyde before so what could cause him to have the intention to cause harm to him.
It was only when Charmy shook
Vanna had just finished her battle against the obsidian strong-armed bear and green-backed foraging giant snake and as expected it was a resounding victory on her part.Just like it was with the pack of dire wolves, the two dire beasts after having suffered the brutality of Vanna's mighty hammer were left with not a single piece of flesh intact. even the strong and sturdy rock-hard body of the obsidian strong-armed bear did not escape from being ravaged under the might of Vanna's hammer. This was a testament to Vanna's violence in combat and her total lack of regard to the objective of the current assessment which was to gather enough resources that would earn herself and her group the points that they would need to pass the assessment.Naturally, in order to acquire points to pass, the quality and quantity of the resources acquired as well as their overall state of being when retrieved would determine the number of points awarded. But looking at the totally rav
The tone of voice that Clyde used to speak to Eris was one that showed a total lack of respect that he was otherwise trying to come across as.Naturally this pissed of Eris and her group but for the sake of peace and also because they truly did not want to have anybody sabotaging their efforts during the assessment, none of Arran's group said anything at all.Besides, it was not like they could not work with Clyde at all just because he was disrespectful and bore clear misgivings against one of their group members. Like they say it was better to keep your friends close and your enemies closer. With that mentality in mind, Eris ignored Clyde's offense and instead said, "Well then we do have to talk about this issue. Seeing as both our groups are headed in the same direction then our objective is most likely the same.""Well, then how are we going to go about things so that we do not get in each other's way?"Arran and the rest of his group all nodde
As it slowly registered to Clyde just what Eris was asking for, he started to consider where exactly Eris got her confidence from that made her suggest such a suicidal sharing method despite the risks involved.Looking at Eris closely and then Charmy and the rest of their group... even taking a little look at Arran... Clyde could see that every one of them did not seem to be against Eris's suggestion and even seemed to look forward to it very much. This made Clyde cautious as it seemed that Eris's group really had something to rely on.Still, no matter how much Clyde racked his brain to come up with any possible explanation to their confidence, he could not come up with anything. but that did not stop him from refusing to agree to Eris's suggestion. The way he saw it, it did not matter what it was that Eris and her group were relying on, so far as they had a burden like Arran but still wanted to go up against him, then he would gladly accommodate them.
Inside the dire beast forest.Currently, a clash of massive proportions between three separate forces was about to occur with neither of its participants being aware of this.On one side we have two groups of cadets from the kingsman academy that have existing fragile cooperation that could dissolve into a full-blown confrontation at any moment. Both groups were keeping their guard up against each other and it was like a powder keg filled with highly active explosives was about to go off and when it did the scale would be out of one's imagination. On another side there was a group of scheming bad guys who had orchestrated all this development from a very long time ago but after such a long time had passed this group no longer had complete control over the whole situation.Still, that is not stopping them from tasting the fruit of their own labor at whatever cost, and nobody was going to stop them.As for the third and final group of particip
When Trish spoke about how trashy Arran was there was clear contempt that could be felt in her voice. It was like she did not even consider Arran to be worth anything at all in her eyes.Just as Trish was going to continue saying words of contempt against Arran, suddenly, someone from who neither Trish nor Clyde expected to hear anything spoke.Vanna who had previously been staring into the distance to where their final goal was located turned to face Trish as soon as she had finished speaking. With a weird glint in her eyes, Vanna said to Trish, "I would advise you not to underestimate the boy too much. If you continue to show such naked contempt then your words might just come around to bite you later on."After saying that Vanna stopped speaking and returned back to looking at the forest.Clyde and Trish were very surprised and shocked by what they had just seen.It was not like they had not seen Vanna speak before it was just that Vanna
Clyde was very mad.Looking at Vanna his eyes were vicious and it was like he was about to start pitting fire at any moment. He was feeling very humiliated and Clyde felt like he did not have any face left to show up in public. Just thinking about how Vanna had so blatantly opposed him made Clyde speculate about how others saw him.In his mind, Clyde thought that the others saw him as a person who could not control his own team when he was supposed to be the leader of the team. This was even more so that Eris and Charmy were looking over just from the side. Now because of this whenever Clyde looked at Trish who was still sprawled on the floor in a sorry state, Clyde started to resent her for continuously provoking Vanna. In his mind he rebuked Trish's actions by saying, 'Look at you, you just don't know when to stop. Why did you have to continuously provoke this unlucky star? Just who gave you the guts to do so when you are so much weaker than her?
All sides were about to clash and it was just a matter of which side would meet the other first. In this oncoming battle, the side that had more information than the other would have a marked advantage over the others and right now it was an indisputable fact that Arran's group had more information regarding what they were about to face than any other group involved.Naturally, as elites of the Kingsman Academy that have been taught to always exploit every advantage in the pursuit of victory, Arran, and his group would have already made preparations to take advantage of their superior position in order to reap the greatest benefit. The name of the game was intelligence. Here one's intelligence would decide the flow of the battle. The first group of people to reach the final destination was Arran and his group along with Clyde and his. When they finally reached the center of all this commotion what greeted them was a very extraordinary sight.
"So how exactly are we going to go about this?" Clyde asked."What is our next course of action going to be?"Eris looked at Clyde and she had a thought, It seems like apart from asking for our cooperation Clyde has another hidden objective. But it doesn't matter because at the end of the day all I have to do is follow the plan that has already been decided on.'Not wanting to continue playing any of Clyde's mind games since time was of the essence, Eris said to Clyde, "Well in order for us to pull this off, we have to first separate most of these dire beasts because only in that way can we have a chance to get close to that plant and get our hands on its bud.""I had that same thought," Clyde said.Eris nodded and continued, "Well that is our only option but that begs the question, who is going to be the one that lures these dire beasts away?"This was the key point here because the ones that will be left with luring some of the dire beasts
