Ever since Arran found himself inside this strange place filled with purple clouds and met his parents, it had felt like more than thirty minutes had passed. But Arran could not be sure if that was really true or if his senses were just playing tricks on him.
For a while now, Arran had been feeling that his perception of time inside this strange space was skewed. He could not tell if one minute spent in here was actually a minute outside of if it was called differently. Worst of all, Arran had no way to get out of here. He could only turn to his parents to help him out of here.
As much as Arran wanted to spend more time here with his parents, he knew that it was not possible to do so. As it was now, Arran could already see his parent's bodies slowly fading and becoming transparent. He knew that he didn't have much longer to spend with them.
Their time was almost up.
