[Shattered Meteor] was a dimensional refracting technique. A technique that could distort time and space allowing for instantaneous execution of moves in a single moment. But while the Wellingtons were effective in dealing with the flesh wall, they couldn’t take care of all of it because it was really too long. The flesh wall was already as huge as several districts in a large metropolitan city like New York making it too large for any one of them to handle alone.If not that the flesh wall was very weak and vulnerable to their attacks much unlike the nigh-invulnerable horror, it would’ve been a much greater threat to the Aeth than the horror was. While everybody fought their own battles, Arran focused on dealing with the decadent horror sparing only a bit of his senses to observe their progress. When he saw that everybody had things under control and wouldn’t allow the mound of flesh-skin to approach the horror any time soon, Arran renewed his efforts to finish off the decadent horror now that it was weak.[Shattered Meteor: Eightfold Slash!]Once again, Arran executed another eightfold slash of Shattered Meteor on the decadent horror slicing its countless body parts into even more tiny fragments.Not a single part of the horror remained intact after the full onslaught of Arran’s attacks. As the light appeared on the battlefield, it left just as suddenly and quickly leaving only a few stunned Aeth watching everything in awe. Finally, they recovered their senses and everybody immediately looked at the center where the light had originated from. “Is it over?”After the shock died down, the others came to their senses and finally, went over to Arran’s side asking if the battle was finally over. They’d all been so focused on killing the horror that they hadn’t considered other options to handle the situation causing them to effectively fall into a rut. The second person who could perform a big and powerful attack was Bernard. As long as he unlocked his second seal, Bernard would definitely be able to one-shot the horror. Even if it could revive it was impossible for it to do so immediately which would give Sable enough time to seal the horror.But the problem with this was equally as obvious. One, Bernard was still unconscious from his previous attempt to unlock his second seal which was interrupted. Secondly, unlocking the second seal would effectively kill Bernard so it was not a reliable option in any given case.Lastly, Arran would also be able to do what was required with his own method even being the most reliable of the three.
