Somewhere in the cave, Carrum and his nine accomplices were discussing how they were going to tackle the problem of Arran once and for all and they were making preparations for when they will eventually betray all of the alliance.

Naturally, since the ten of them were talking about betraying the alliance, it was not something that should be taken lightly at all. The ten of them had to make sure that there were no unexpected elements that would crop up all of a sudden and ruin their plans.

For something like this, there would definitely be some amongst the alliance and the other participants who would have already guessed at their plans so what they needed to do was to make sure that things would smoothly for them. as for the aftermath that would follow their actions, that was not something the ten of them were concerned with at all.
