There was silence in the arena.
Arran's eyes were clear and reflected in them was an unshakable conviction and resolve towards his own beliefs. The look in his eyes showed a stubbornness that said, 'come hail or high water, my will shall not be broken!'
Instructor Dan could understand this resolve and it resonated with him.
All of a sudden, instructor Dan laughed out loud in a boisterously loud voice as he slapped Arran on his back with a light amount of force, making him stumble which immediately resolved whatever atmosphere that Arran was building up with his aura.
While laughing, Instructor Dan said to Arran who was trying to keep his footing.
"Hahaha, kid, I like you. It seems it is not only your battle intent that is impressive but your will is also sturdy. A rare gem indeed and I'm going to enjoy every moment I spend polishing you into a fine warrior."
