Conrad peered into the slowly dissipating dust and he could vaguely see the outline of two people wrapped in something that resembled a large cloth.
Remembering the voice that had just spoken, and now seeing this, Conrad put two and two together and realized that Arran and the girl were still alive.
Conrad frowned a little before he gradually calmed down and put on a relaxed smile on his face.
Looking at Arran and the girl as their figures slowly became clearer, Conrad said.
"Well, well, well... it seems you're still alive, I'm impressed. But then again, it is better this way since it would have been too boring and bothersome if you had died from just that."
"But your good luck ends here. I will not be so lenient in my attacks next time so you should not count on your luck to survive my next attack."
Just as Conrad finished speaking, the dust around Arran and the girl finally settled and their figures could now be seen much clearly again.
