The actions of this girl were very unexpected and it naturally ended up surprising Conrad and his lackeys as well as the newcomer.
Naturally, this newcomer was Arran.
Arran had finally shown up after a long period of debating with himself.
Arran showed up not to save to girl but to instead take care of the four of them at once and see if he could get any tokens from them. Arran was hoping that his luck would shine brightly upon him and he would be able to get all the tokens that he needed from these four participants at once so that he could finally be done with this elimination round. if saving the girl was a consequence of doing so, then so be it.
But what was the situation right now like?
Before Arran had even made any moves against them, this girl had already stepped out to defend him and she was urging him to escape while she covered his retreat.
