Arran listened to Alec’s guess I’m what was causing the interference to his perception. He mostly agreed with it cause he had also thought in line with that train of thought. But he also had his doubts about it, too.

Arran noncommittally said, “Maybe you’re right. But it could as well be what is causing all these rapid mutations to occur that’s causing the disturbance to my perception.”

“If our guess is correct and the source of what is causing the Earth to transform originated from here, then a large amount of energy must be coming out from somewhere in these regions that could cause my perception to be affected. This can also be seen as another clue, don’t you think?”

Hearing the implication in Arran’s words, Alec expressed his surprise by saying, “Are you saying that if the cause of the disturbance in your perception is what is causing Earth to transform them the more your perception is being affected the closer we are to the source of the transformation?”

“Exactly,” Arran said wit

Yet nobody had noticed when a large fireball akin to the sun fell into the clearing, indicating just how fast it was moving. Before the dust had even settled in the clearing, all the occupants of the camp had gathered together, surrounding the impact area where the fireball had landed. In the lead, a towering savage of a man stood donning ripped and shredded animal hide that barely clung to his body. • Kingsman Return   White Hot Rage

The person in the crater was naturally Arran, who had descended into the camp in a mass of blazing flames like a huge fireball. Currently, Arran’s mood was at a fever pitch, with him suddenly developing a flair for the dramatic. That was why his entrance was so flashy and loud. Even after he had descended, Arran had allowed the dust to linger around him, using his powers to block the efforts of anybody trying to probe into it all so he could wait for more people to gather around before revealing himself. Because of this, Arran was able to witness the savagery of Bruno as he attempted to strangle another person for no particular reason at all. Untouched, Arran allowed everything to play out until the pivotal moment arrived, where he finally revealed himself and saved the unfortunate man. Not that Arran cared whether he lived or died at all. Lately, Arran found himself being increasingly numb toward certain things like the life or death of others. • Kingsman Return   Glory And Defeat — Bruno’s True Form

Arran was pissed — completely and utterly enraged! Being a staunch believer that gentlemen never struck in the face, he couldn’t tolerate when people aimed their attacks at his face, an act that would potentially leave Arran marred for life. It was one thing for Bruno to attack Arran without any warning at all. That much was expected of a villain. Hell, the save could even strangle a man to death before Arran and the Aeth wouldn’t care at all. But why did he have to strike at his face?? This made things very personal, and Arran was one to hold a grudge. But compared to Arran’s anger, a more intense emotional reaction was sweeping through Bruno and everyone in the camp. “I can’t believe it! He actually caught the Humongousaur’s punch with his bare hand. That’s impossible, right?” Someone spoke, recoiling from shock. “Remove your doubt, be more certain. It is totally impossible!” Someone beside him responded. “I’ve never seen anybody take the Humongousaur’s attack directly and come

  • Kingsman Return   Indifferent Killing

Bruno used his full power, transforming into a giant humanoid reptilian beast, his wild aura carrying a desolate feeling to it. The camp was in chaos as everybody tried to get away from Bruno as fast as possible. Bruno ignored them as he sensed his current state. He had a feeling that he was filled with unending power and that with a single swing of his hand, he could level a building. While this wasn’t true, as it was just an illusion caused by his sudden increase in strength, Bruno knew it also represented the upper limit of his powers. The feeling of being filled with energy to the point of wanting to burst was because there was still a lot of unearthed potential yet to be tapped into in his powers and as long as he could develop his powers diligently he could continuously unearth the full potential of his powers grow even bigger and stronger. But for now, this was Bruno’s current limit, but he believed it would be enough to deal with Arran. Taking a moment to relish in his stren

  • Kingsman Return   The Path After True Evolution

Bruno was dead, and the other campers were in shock. That was when Alec descended and admonished Arran’s actions. Looking up into the atmosphere, Alec noticed the dark clouds that were forming above his head. This was caused by the massive change in temperature, which caused all the moisture in the surroundings to evaporate and ascend rapidly into the air forming rain clouds. Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem, but such a rapid change caused by the influence of Arran’s Essence Energy directly affected the Earth’s changing laws and could lead to devastating consequences for the environment. For example, if Arran had continued using his powers, which would affect the environment, judging from how things were looking, a powerful monsoon could have been created that would have swept through the city, causing massive loss of life and other damages. This was just one of the potential adverse effects Arran’s powers could have on the Earth, and it was simply one of the tamer ones too. Wh

  • Kingsman Return   No Mercy

When Arran spoke, the person who stood up to speak was almost scared to death, as well as everyone else. To them, Arran was akin to a demon king, one whose ruthlessness outshone other demons. They had never seen a more volatile person than him. Even Bruno, who was savage and reprehensible, was compared to Arran in the eyes of these people and that was saying something. What the group of people in the clearing wanted more than anything was for this plague to leave quickly lest they be implicated and die an undeserving and unjust death. But from the looks of things, if the words exchanged between Alec and Arran were anything to go by, it didn’t seem like they were planning to leave anytime soon. Instead, they were considering sending them away to fend for themselves outside the clearly. That was practically a death sentence to these people, which prompted the previous individual to yell for mercy. Now that person had stepped out, he couldn’t retreat, so he had to swallow the bullet

  • Kingsman Return   Alec’s Power

Once everybody was gone, leaving only Arran and Alec in the clearing, the two could finally focus on their main objective. “Alright now. Let’s get down to business.” Arran said. Then he continued. “It’s been a while since I’ve been here and with all the changes, I don’t remember where the door is. But let me try to find it. Hold on a sec.” With a thought, Arran’s senses seeped into the earth, penetrating through countless sedimentary layers of the earth’s crust, trying to find the entrance to the hideout. During this, Arran observed some interesting things that he couldn’t help but point out. “Wow, you’ve got to see this. Just look at the state of this crust. It’s like a completely different structure than what was taught in class. It’s like multiple layers had been added onto, causing it to run deeper than it originally should.” “What do you mean?” Alec asked, not quite getting what Arran was referring to. Arran explained, “What I’m saying is that the whole earth is at a higher

  • Kingsman Return   The Age Of Desecration

Walking through the crevice created by Alec, the duo were not in a hurry as they leisurely stilled down toward their destination.Arran casually struck up a conversation with Alec during this time.“Say, what do you actually think caused Earth to transform so much like this?”Alec’s voice coming from the front asked in a neutral tone.“What do you mean?”“What I mean is, it couldn’t have just been because the planet was exposed to transcendent energy that caused all these changes to occur. If it was that easy to change the laws of a planet, then many mortal worlds that don’t support transcendence would have been transformed by now.”“You’re the archeologist so you tell me, has there ever been a precedent like this in history before?”Alec was silent for a moment before he answered Arran’s question.“Firstly, I’m an archeologist, not a historian so I can’t say for certain if something like this has happened in history. But based on past archeological findings, so far, it’s very unlikel

Soran’s ability, Triumph, granted Arran the means to win. Before Arran thought it only made it so that he could meet his enemies power blow for blow regardless of the difference in the realm. But what if there was a situation where Arran was up against an opponent whose gap in the realm was impossible to cross logically? It was the strongest legacy left behind by the old one which could not be inherited directly. This power was only meant to be used at the critical time of the conflict with the Aeth civilization. It was Kasack’s greatest trump card one that he was reluctant to ever use. Yet at this moment, In the face of death, Kasack unleashed this power knowing full well the repercussions of his action.
