Arran and Charmy were oblivious to everybody else’s concerns. They continued to publicly display their sickly affection for each other.

“Listen to me babe, I just finished a battle right now and I’m feeling sore all over. My back aches and my energy is depleted. Why don’t we take this elsewhere so we can continue while I rest ok?”

Arran, being more self-aware and knowing that they were causing a scene, tried to persuade Charmy to take their argument elsewhere. But she was having none of it.

“So are you saying it’s my fault for not letting you rest, eh? Am I now the person in the wrong because I came looking for you?”

“No, no, that’s not what I am saying. It’s just I, I...”

Arran tried to refute Charmy’s words, but he had nothing to say. Eventually, he gave up knowing that she couldn’t be reasoned with right now. Instead of trying to console Charmy, Arran quickly turned to Eris, who was watching the show, and mouthed a silent plea.

“Help me!”

Arran made sure to look pitiful to Eris, kn

Not only were Eris and Charmy staring at him, but also the two people that accompanied them.At this moment, nobody was speaking, and an awkward silence hung in the air. Arran, being the center of attention, felt very uncomfortable. He was thinking of a way to break this awkward silence that felt very stifling to him.At this moment, the old man in the group, Councilman Taylor, spoke up first, breaking the silence and relieving the awkwardness in the lounge.“Would anybody like a drink?” Councilman Taylor asked.Without waiting for anybody to answer, Councilman Taylor had already made his back to the back of the bar and was looking through the stock of drinks available.Immediately, the middle-aged man who was the commander of the fleet escorting the group quickly hurried to Cou

“So delicious! This drink is so good. I’ve never had anything like it before.”“Old man, what drink is this?”After downing the glass that Councilman Taylor gave him, Arran’s eyes shone with an excited light. That drink was so wonderful. It was unlike anything Arran had ever tasted. As soon as the drink entered Arran’s mouth, a chilling cold affected him, which shocked his body and gave him a jolt. Surprisingly, the chill was not uncomfortable at all.For Arran, it was like stepping into an ice bath. At first, it would be uncomfortable as hell, but after some time you won’t be bothered as much and your body would start to relax and your nerves became numb. That was how Arran’s body was feeling right now. After having fought only moments ago, Arran’s body was still in a heightened state of activity, like a hyperactive and jumpy kid. But after taking the drink, his body suddenly calmed down and seemed to enter a Zen state. His control over his body seemed to have increased.Arran could

With Arran’s confirmation, the silence in the lounge became pregnant with meaning. Everybody was lost in thought because what Arran said just now carried an important significance that needed to be contemplated.Eldencraid, the kingdom of the Aeolus.Just as Charmy had said, was the home of the Aeolus. The Aeolus were Aeth who were under the rule of the Air Ruler among the seven rulers, and Eldencraid was their kingdom.Collectively, the seven rulers were the highest authority of the entire Aeth civilization. Naturally, there can be no ruler without a kingdom to rule. Each of the seven rulers had their own kingdom, making for a total of seven kingdoms. The Aeolus kingdom was just one of the seven. Each of the seven kingdoms was located in sub-realms, pocket dimensions hidden inside the Etherium with the mother planet being the capital of each kingdom, which made up the center of the entire civilization.Unlike other traditional kingdoms, where the power of authority lay with the ruler

The expression of doubt portrayed on Councilman Taylor’s face was clear to see as he tried to understand what Arran said.Unperturbed, Arran repeated what he said previously.“I said I met my parents inside the palace hall.”Confirming that he hadn’t heard wrong, Councilman Taylor fell into thought.Regarding Arran’s parents, there was a lot of speculation about who they might be. Basically, it was hard to guess who Arran’s father was. Because the conditions for a Kingsman to be born were very stringent, it was very easy to trace Arran’s genealogy on his father's side.Jeremiah Nero was the biggest suspect for being Arran’s father. Four hundred years ago, he was the latest Kingsman under the Nero Kingsman lineage and at the time of his disappearance along with the Aeolus kingdom, Jeremiah had yet to have any heirs. Considering that the Nero Kingsman bloodline had been cut off following Jeremiah’s disappearance, it was easy to conclude that he was Arran’s father. But all of this was ju

As soon as Arran made his declaration, all eyes on him were filled with a variety of expressions and emotions. There was shock, surprise, doubt, and wonder, the most prevalent of those emotions being shock and doubt then amazement.Among them, Captain Chavis was both shocked and doubtful, while Eris and Charmy were filled with surprise and wonder. Councilman Taylor was mostly amazed. He had already guessed it, but hearing Arran’s confirmation; he was still amazed nonetheless. There was no doubt in the Councilman’s heart that Arran was speaking the truth. It was because something like this was very easy to prove. As long as Arran’s blood was tested against the samples of the royal families kept in storage, his lie would be easy to disprove. As for why Arran’s blood had not been tested to find out about this much sooner, it was simply because nobody had thought about it.Just think of it first. After hearing all Arran had to say, Councilman Taylor finally let out a long breath that he’d been holding for some time.Hu!Thinking of all he had learned, the Councilman was in deep thought...All this time, a lot of speculations had been made regarding what happened four hundred years ago. Among them had been no lack of guesses about whether the Aeolus kingdom faced a great enemy that wiped them out or if they had encountered an unpredictable natural cosmic phenomenon that caused them severe damage that they had to seal themselves. But now, from Arran’s mouth, Councilman Taylor was hearing an account from somebody who had experienced the incident four hundred years ago.To know that there was an enemy out there powerful enough to force the strongest kingdom of the Aeth to seal itself... Councilman Taylor felt that things were very tricky. There was silence in the lounge for a few seconds. It was not only Councilman Taylor who was in deep thought. After hearing what Arran said, the

Of the three, only Trapp piqued the princesses' interest, but because he covered himself from head to toe, they quickly lost interest. Not every girl liked a guy who acted mysteriously.“And finally, this is Elena. Arran was sucked away into the void fissure which closed immediately after, but not before Poltergeist had managed to latch onto his thigh for whatever reason. Seeing Poltergeist clinging onto him, Arran was confused before suddenly developing the urge to retort vehemently. But he wouldn’t have that time for things were just starting to go very wrong. The space within the void fissure was just that… a literal void where nothing existed but the vast expanse of space. But the stability of this void was seriously compromised allowing for multiple fractures in space and time to open up in the surrounding void. Due to the force of the vacuum that pulled arran and Poltergeist into the void fissure, the two of them were barreling through this space uncontrollably without the ability to stabilize themselves. Arran was too weak at the moment after having all his strength drained from him while releasing the Earth’s World Will. As for Poltergeist, she was also weakened. This was because she

    World Will

The awakening of the world's will of earth was not something Arran had ever expected much less that its awakening would have to do with him. It was then that Arran realized the cause of everything. In Arran’s hand, Soran lay there quietly, no longer trembling as before as if it had gone to slumber. But when Arran thought of how everything that just happened was all because of it, Arran was shocked beyond belief. Arran thought that he already understood what Soran was capable of yet only now did he know that he was yet to scratch the surface of all of Soran’s capabilities. Soran’s ability, Triumph, granted Arran the means to win. Before Arran thought it only made it so that he could meet his enemies power blow for blow regardless of the difference in the realm. But what if there was a situation where Arran was up against an opponent whose gap in the realm was impossible to cross logically? For instance, how would Soran ensure Arran’s victory if he was up against a god as a mere mort

Just as Arran was about to reach out to Soran to grab him, he suddenly paused as a feeling overcame him. Something was calling out to arran. Even more surprised, Arran looked around swiftly but he couldn’t find anybody around him. Then he thought of something and turned back to look at Soran who continued to tremble in the air. Indeed, just as Arran thought, as he focused on Soran, that call rose in his heart once again. It was as if something was reaching out to him through Soran from a mysterious place. In his madness, Kasack did something drastic. He completely unleashed the power of the old one sealed within the dark star planet. Lying within the core of the dark star planet was the old ones' power. This power was meant to be given to his chosen champion as a means to fight the Aeth civilization. It was the strongest legacy left behind by the old one which could not be inherited directly. This power was only meant to be used at the critical time of the conflict with the Aeth civilization. It was Kasack’s greatest trump card one that he was reluctant to ever use. Yet at this moment, In the face of death, Kasack unleashed this power knowing full well the repercussions of his action. Kasack was severely damaged, his injuries extremely grevious. But the most severe blow done to Kasack was the blow to his mind and ego. Despite everything, despite all the preparations and plans he had made, Kasack still hadn’t succeeded in killing Arran, yet it was he who was left battered and on the brink of death once again. This thought, Kasack could not bear it. His previous shame which he had hidden beneath a well of anger and rage resurfaced once more, bursting onto the surface like an erupting volcano. Aaaahhhhhh!
