SEKAR VILLAGE

One day passed, Bruce and Arthur then continued their journey.

It takes almost 2 days to get through the forest, before the arrival of the monkeys but the journey will only take one day.

However, after the arrival of the fire monkey, the road they usually used was closed and needed repairs before it could be used again, so practically the two of them had to detour a further way.

While walking through the forest, Bruce often asked Arthur several questions because every time he fought with monkeys, he felt that he had many shortcomings.

So then when he had to be faced with a dangerous situation again, it was almost the same as facing a fire monkey.

Then he could be sure of taking better action, and in this case Arthur was of course very happy to answer him.

Because from there he could feel how much desire Bruce had to perform better in the future.

As they were passing through a valley area in the middle of the forest, the two of them could see dozens of simple houses made of wood that looked abandoned.

Seeing this of course Bruce became curious and asked "it seems there was a village in this place a long time ago" Bruce said to Arthur.

"You are right, there used to be villagers living in that village, but since several years of taking control of this forest, the residents of that village have fled and left their homes," answered Arthur again.

"This...is very unfortunate," Bruce said in reply.

"But you don't need to worry, sooner or later maybe they will return to their village," answered Arthur again.

"Ahhh…you're right grandpa," said Bruce, agreeing with what Arthur said.

Without realizing it, the two of them immediately saw a way out of the forest, which in the distance was not too far from the existing forest.

There was a village that was almost the same size as the abandoned village in the forest.

Seeing this of course Bruce became happy "look grandpa there is a village ahead!!" Bruce shouted.

"Yeah...that's a new village...it didn't exist before," Arthur answered back.

"Is this a village in the forest that then moved here???" Bruce asked, trying to guess.

"You can try asking the old man at the village entrance," said Arthur again.

On the other hand, an old man who looks thin wearing simple clothes, is seen relaxing at the village entrance.

However, if you look closely there will be arrows and a sword placed by his side, not to mention a small gong which is also right next to the old man.

While Bruce and Arthur were talking while approaching the old man's direction, the old man who heard the sound of the ox carriage seemed surprised by what he saw.

He never would have thought that from the direction in the forest, now he actually saw a pair of old and young men driving an ox cart heading towards him.

How many years had he not seen this scene? For a moment he was confused until the sound of the oxcart was getting closer to him before he realized.

"Someone passed by...

"Someone passed by...

"dong….dong…dong….dong…." Excitedly, the old man immediately rang the gong beside him.

The sound of a loud gong immediately filled the entire village, the village which looked peaceful then became shocked and shocked.

The young men and adult men heard the sound of the gong, immediately stopped their activities and immediately took the weapons in the house and rushed towards the source of the gong sound.

On the other hand, women and children were immediately evacuated to the park that had been provided in the village.

"Hello ... .old man…may I ask the name of your village?" Bruce politely asked the old man.

"Young man...wait a moment...let me catch my breath first," said the old man with a face that was still shocked.

After calming down for a while, the old man then answered the question asked by Bruce.

"This is Sekar village, and I am the guard on duty at the village entrance. May I know the names of you two?" answered while then asking again.

"ohhh... sorry for my rudeness, my name is Bruce and this is my grandfather Arthur, we are both from the city of Sanur crossing the forest to get to the harbor of hope" Bruce answered back.

"Did you say you were from Sanur city?????" asked the old man again.

" Yes, why??" Bruce asked back.

"ha...impossible...how is that possible???" Full of questions, the old man couldn't believe what Bruce was saying.

"Hey ....old man, what's impossible, aren't you clearly we're from the hut "That's it," said Bruce in denial.

"but...but...aren't there fire monkeys living in the forest???" Still asking in confusion about the fact that the forest had been overrun by fire monkeys.

"Oh… fire monkeys, they were defeated by me and my grandfather," answered Bruce again.

And hearing this the old man became even more shocked and shouted "what?????? How is that possible????" Can't believe what the old man said.

"This is the proof." Providing the head of the fire monkey king, Arthur who had been silent all this time, then spoke and showed the proof.

"Wowwww…..this…this ... .the head of the fire monkey king ... .this is true ... .this is true ... .the end" cried with emotion.

Bruce, who saw the old man's changing emotions, became confused, (what was wrong with this old man? At the beginning, he was full of aggressive attitude and didn't believe what he was saying, until then Grandpa Arthur showed him the head of the Monkey King fire.

The old man then didn't believe it again, but this time his reaction changed, where he appeared to be crying and also moved with joy.

Seeing this, of course Bruce became confused.

"You don't need to be confused, he just looks happy that the disaster that has been haunting their village has finally been resolved.

And if you remember correctly the abandoned houses in the forest were most likely the homes of the same villagers as this old man.

So it's only natural that he's crying" Arthur said, telling Bruce.

However, while the three of them were in a strange atmosphere, from the direction of the village in front of them, dozens of young, mature men carrying various types of weapons were seen rushing towards them.

Seeing the arrival of a group of people carrying guns of course, Bruce became alert and said "Grandpa look at the villagers coming with guns" Bruce told Arthur.

"I know, just leave it because later everything will be clear, you just relax," replied Arthur while casually smoking his pipe.

Not long after, the villagers immediately approached them, with fierce faces they looked at Bruce and Arthur.

"Who are you????" In a loud voice a burly middle-aged man asked.

"Couldn't you be more polite?" Bruce felt that they were too rude when greeting him and Arthur's grandfather so he responded in a harsh tone as well.

"You are impudent!!!!... dare to speak harshly... the village head just arrested them!!! A young man who looked dashing said in reply.

"Just catch them...

" catch!!!

" catch!!!..

"Really…really ... .really the villagers came from" Bruce sarcastically quipped at them in an annoyed tone.

"wait ... .wait…first…." The voice of the old man guarding the village gate said as he saw that the situation seemed to have changed drastically.

He who previously was still lulled by the joyful atmosphere, now realized that the debate that was taking place between Bruce and the villagers immediately said to separate.

"Mr George... don't be afraid, we are here to defend you," said a villager who thought it was the old man guarding the village entrance, Mr George.

"no…no….that's what I mean!!" George immediately denied.

"Ok everyone shut up!!!!" The village chief's voice stopped the commotion.

Soon everyone fell silent, the prestige of the village chief played its part.

So then with the order issued by the village head, the villagers who were initially noisy then calmed down and listened to the explanation given by the village gatekeeper, George.

Seeing that the situation was conducive, George then began to explain the real situation.

Starting from the arrival of Bruce and Arthur, and the story about the conquest of the fire monkeys until their origins are all explained in detail.

And on the other hand, the more the villagers listened to George's explanation, the more surprised they were to hear the facts.

And for a moment later the atmosphere became noisy again, because the news given was extraordinary for them.

Thinking about the forced move to the village several years ago, and having to leave the forest where they were born and lived.

Of course, all the villagers felt very sad and disappointed, but for their safety there was no other choice.

So then they had to move out of the forest and build a new village, even though they had reported this several times to the Sanur city authorities.

And asked for their help but in reality, all missions and soldiers assigned to eradicate the fire monkeys ended in failure.

So It was with deep bitterness that they had to accept this fact to actually move from there, not until several years later did they succeed in establishing a new village outside the forest.

Those who are starting to get used to living there, still have great hopes in their hearts to be able to return to their home village in the forest.

And now hearing stories told the dream they had put off for years, now seems to have come true.

What's more, seeing the evidence of the head of the fire monkey king brought by the two strangers, they became more and more convinced.

And soon there was the sound of sobbing from the happy and touched villagers.
