ON THE WAY

The sudden change in situation of course made Bruce shocked and in disbelief, how could this be possible when at the beginning they came so aggressively.

Then after hearing the explanation from George they turned into joy and then cried.

This was clearly very confusing for Bruce, as a young man who lived in a remote place and rarely had activities with residents, of course his emotions were different.

In his eyes, the behavior of the Sekar villagers was clearly not in accordance with what he should have imagined.

Seeing the confusion on Bruce's face, Arthur who had only been a spectator before,

said while telling him.

"They are happy... because they can finally return to their hometown. On the other hand, they can also be said to be people who are less fortunate," Arthur said to Bruce.

"ohhh... I see.... but Grandpa Arthur, how long do they have to cry like this, isn't this just delaying our time even longer!!" With a slightly irritated face Bruce then said.

And Arthur who realized Bruce's words immediately realized that what he said was true.

Why do they have to stay here for a long time, because they are traveling so don't delay.

"Hey…. village head…. have you guys finished… if you've let us pass!!" Arthur's words broke the emotional and happy atmosphere among the villagers.

On the other hand, the villagers who were engrossed in the fun, were disturbed by what Arthur said but then realized that the two of them were heroes for their village.

Immediately they dispelled the dislike that previously existed in their minds, and on the other hand the village chief who also heard Arthur's call immediately realized.

Their behavior seems to bother the two men who have become heroes to their village.

"Sorry... sorry benefactors, we just feel happy because in the end the burden that we have been suffering for so long has finally been resolved.

Of course we are very grateful for what you have done, maybe it is a trivial thing in your eyes when cleaning up these fire monkeys.

But for us ordinary villagers like this who have been waiting for years this is something that is truly priceless.

"So beforehand we apologize if there is any misunderstanding between us, and with our good intentions, allow us to welcome you to the village and treat you properly," said the village head, expressing his intention to invite the two of them to their village.

Both Bruce and Arthur who heard this, looked at each other, as if wanting to find an answer between the two.

In the end it was Arthur who made a decision by shaking his head, seeing the answer Arthur's grandfather had received.

Bruce then said, "Sorry village chief, it seems we can't visit your village due to our current urgent trip.

Previously, we would like to thank you very much for your generosity, but it seems that fate has not been with us so that in the end we have not been able to visit your village.

Maybe on another occasion we can visit. And I hope you will still be generous when it comes," Bruce answered on behalf of the two of them.

After hearing the answer given by Bruce, it can be seen that the village head seemed disappointed because they could not host the hero who had liberated their village.

However, after hearing the reason behind their unwillingness to attend, the village head accepted this and with a heavy hear while comforting himself, he said.

"Ok...if you can't come, then let us give you a few supplies, maybe this will really help you while you are on your way. And I hope you don't refuse" despite the compromise the village head thought.

Wouldn't it be good if they also gave a few supplies to the two heroes.

And Bruce and Arthur who heard this, of course, would not refuse what the village chief gave them.

Because if they keep refusing the good deed they want to do it's obvious we offend them and end up belittling them.

So then by order from the head of the village some of the residents were asked to return to the village and bring sufficient supplies for their heroes.

While waiting for the villagers to return to their village, the village head then approached Bruce and Arthur and then told them the origins of their village.

From the story explained by the head of the village, both of them realized that the village in the forest had been inherited and passed down from their ancestors.

The main livelihood of the villagers is hunting and farming.

Even though they have a hunting profession, there is one thing that Bruce must admire, that there are rules set in their village.

When it came to game animals, he heard that only mature and old animals could be labored for them, while for them small and medium-sized animals.

Those that are still growing are not allowed to be hunted and if this is violated they will be punished with severe penalties.

The reason this was done was to protect the ecosystem in the forest, and what they implemented basically produced good results.

Because the environment in the forest is maintained and they can continue to earn a living from there.

Not long after, the villagers returned carrying two large sacks, where the two large sacks contained various types of food, both processed and dried.

After receiving thanks from the very grateful villagers, Bruce and Arthur continued their journey.

Throughout the journey they continued, Bruce asked Arthur several questions.

In this case, of course Bruce asked about the attitude of the villagers and also the changes they had when they realized what the two had done.

Arthur, who knew about the shortcomings of Bruce's attitude, of course explained it very well he was aware that to form a strong and wise knight.

Good emotional intelligence is needed in responding to feelings between people because in the end.

The emotional intelligence they have will be very useful for carrying out the tasks and actions they carry out.

So that it does not arouse suspicion or anger and dissatisfaction from the parties involved, in this case ordinary people such as the residents of Sekar village.

Continuing to walk towards the largest harbor on the Island of the Gods, the two of them leisurely enjoyed the surrounding views.

Understandably, the route they are currently taking is not the normal route that should be taken, because Arthur was currently completing a mission requested by the ruler of the city of Sanur, so he then chose a different route than what he should have.

This route can be said to be an alternative route to the existing main route, before they had conquered the demon monkeys, the main route was controlled.

The Sanur city authorities responded to this by making another route on the right side of the main route, while the left side route is also an alternative route where Sekar village is located.

This is a route that is rarely traveled due to the more difficult terrain and longer distance, so this route becomes very rarely traveled.

And now that all these problems have been resolved, it is very likely that the main route will be restored, and on the other hand, this alternative route that is used by both of them will just be a quieter road.

"How long will it take us to get there grandfather?" Bruce asked Arthur.

"After one more town then we will reach the port" answered Arthur.

"ohhh…there is one more city, what city is that?" he asked.

"The city is called the city of wine, a city that specifically produces liquor for the people of the Island of the Gods," replied Arthur again.

"oh ... .the city of drinks…interesting…." Bruce said imagining what the wine city Arthur meant was like.

"It's just that it will take 1 more day before we can get there" Arthur said again telling Bruce.

"Yeah...it's a long way, Grandpa," said Bruce, commenting when it took more than a day to get there.

"Because we took an alternative route, the distance was farther and quieter"

"If we go through the middle lane, is it crowded???" Bruce asked them to think about the main route that they had now managed to clear.

"The middle lane is the lifeblood of the Island of the Gods. It's natural that it's busy. In the middle lane there are at least 3 more cities waiting for us before arriving at the crossing port." Arthur gave additional information to Bruce.

"Wow...a lot...is the city of wine also included in it???"

"No, they are at different intersections. However, the city of wine will still be busy, because this is one of the famous cities on the Island of the Gods," said Arthur, giving another answer.

"Next time we have a chance, we should take the Middle Route and let me see what the cities are like" Bruce said hopefully.

"Okay, if we go back to the Island of the Gods we will take middle route" Arthur replied with a smile but in his heart he didn't know when that time would come.

Because with the task that Bruce carried out, he knew that at least it would take several years for him to be able to return to this island of the gods.

Thinking about this he felt bad for Bruce, but then he couldn't help much because this was the fate that was set for Bruce to live.

(poor you Bruce...even so your future is full of countless stars, and I will try my best to guide you on the bright path) in his heart Arthur made a determination.
