CHAPTER 20

Hearing the voice of someone familiar, Troy turned only to see his wife looking at him with a confused expression.

Never would he have thought that his wife would be there at that particular time of the day.

To make it even worse was that he was with his lover, and his heart began pounding in his chest.

'Could this be it? What if she finds out about this? Am I going to lose everything I have worked so hard for?’

At that moment he wished the ground would open and swallow him whole, but that's just a figment of his imagination as that can never happen.

He was scared, confused, nervous and stunned at the same time to find her there.

“Hon? Wha- what are you doing here?” He asked with a heavy heart.

He just wasn't expecting to see her, reason being that in all their years of marriage she never comes to the store for whatever reason. She always had one of her employees bring whatever she needed home.

So seeing her in person there was shocking, he was beyond startled by her presenc
