“Can I come in?” He asked as he met her eyes that were staring back at him coldly.

“No you can't! You lost that right years ago, if you have anything to say, say it right here and now and leave!” Patricia Howard uttered.

“I know that you have every reason to hate me. In fact I hate myself Patricia. I am so sorry for leaving you for someone else.” Logan uttered.

“Oh please, of course you are not sorry Logan. You are not, if your relationship or marriage hadn't failed you wouldn't have been sorry that's just the truth you would still be married to her. I looked you up, was I not into you all this while, I was your best friend or at least I thought I was, you broke off the engagement without even a word.”

Logan was beyond pained hearing this. The truth of the matter is that Patricia was the one who was hurting the most and she was right about one thing: if Bethany hadn't betrayed him he would never have felt sorry he never might have even bothered to reach out to Patricia.
