Kim had been Eleanor's best friend since sixth grade. They had shared secrets, dreams, and countless nights out together. Their friendship was a bond as strong as steel. Or so Eleanor had thought.

One morning, Kim received a text message from an unknown number. Curiosity piqued as she opened the message and her eyes widened as she viewed the incriminating screenshots of Eleanor and her boyfriend private chat. Eleanor had been secretly having a relationship with Davis, Kim boyfriend and Kim found it unbearable to come to terms with this realization.

Fury coursed through Kim's veins. She had always been fiercely loyal to her friends, but seeing the evidence of Eleanor's deceit left her seething with anger. Kim knew she couldn't let this slide.

She bided her time, keeping the screenshots to herself and as she engaged in casual conversations with Eleanor throughout the day, letting Eleanor believe that everything was perfectly normal. Her mind, however, was formulating a plan.
