Logan's senses slowly returned as he found himself in a cold, dark room. The atmosphere was heavy, and the surroundings felt like a basement, with the faint scent of dampness in the air. Panic seized him as he realized he was bound to a chair, his arms and legs securely tied. He struggled, pulling against the tight restraints, but the ropes held fast.

A mocking voice sliced through the darkness. "You shouldn't bother, Logan. Those ropes are designed to withstand far more struggle than you can muster."

The words sent a chill down Logan's spine, and he craned his neck to see the source of the voice. The basement light bulb flickered to life, revealing his former boss, Mr. Williams, standing before him, a malicious grin etched across his face. Beside Mr. Williams stood a hulking stranger, an imposing figure who appeared to be his bodyguard.
