As Logan emerged from the fiery basement into the building's first floor, he found himself in a living nightmare. Smoke and flames consumed the hallway in both directions, cutting off any easy escape. The acrid odor of burning wood and chemicals filled the air, choking him as he gasped for breath. Panic surged through him as he realized that his path to the front door was blocked by an inferno.

Desperation drove him to the back of the house, and with each step, the fire crept closer. He reached a room with a window, its glass panes already starting to crack from the heat. Without hesitation, Logan smashed the window with his elbow, sending shards of glass tinkling to the ground outside.
