CHAPTER NINETY TWO

Carter lay on the floor, his face contorted in pain as he pleaded with Logan, "Alright, alright. I'll tell you, just please, no more punches."

Logan, still poised for action, flexed his fists, sending a clear message to Carter. "Tell me the truth, and we'll be done with this."

Carter, aware that he had no other option, slowly picked up his fallen phone from the other side of the room and raised it, awaiting Logan's permission to make a call.

Logan watched him intently, his patience growing thin. "Don't play any more games, Carter."

Carter, sweat beading on his forehead, nodded fervently. "No more games, I promise."

With Logan's reluctant permission, Carter dialed a number he clearly knew by heart. After a few rings, a voice on the other end answered, "Yeah, what do you want?"

Carter, his voice trembling, spoke the words Logan had been waiting to hear. "I need you to track a vehicle. The plate number is KXW-375B."
