CHAPTER SIXTY NINE

Baton pointed a finger at Logan, his gaze piercing. "You provide me with every evidence you have. I want to have all of them for myself."

Logan chuckled, in response, "If I give you everything, there's no incentive for you to spare me. You can hold onto this one, though."

Baton leaned in, a malevolent grin playing on his lips. "Well, if you insist, let's seal the deal with a handshake."

Taking a deep breath, Logan extended his hand, which Baton accepted with a smile as they shook hands. Logan couldn't shake the feeling that he might have either secured his freedom or fallen into a perilous snare.

Logan left the tense atmosphere at the gathering, the weight of the unspoken threats and hostile glares still hanging heavily on his shoulders. He moved quickly toward the gate, not daring to glance back at the group of bike gangsters. The exchange had left him with a gnawing sense of unease.
