LOGAN’S REVENGE SYSTEM

CHAPTER SEVENTY

Logan was determined to get to the bottom of the situation and decided to visit his former boss that morning. He prepared himself and headed to the canteen where he had worked before, determined to find out why his boss would find his bosses button on the floor of his damaged building.

Upon arriving and paying the cab driver, Logan was startled to see Carter's vehicle parked right outside the canteen building and could tell that Carter was inside. He quickly paid the driver and considered for a moment whether he should proceed or not. As he peered through the canteen's windows, he couldn't see Carter anywhere, leaving him to wonder where Carter might be inside the building.

Just then, a familiar voice called his name from behind, and Logan instinctively moved to cover the person's mouth with his hand, giving them a hushing gesture. It was Daniel, his former colleague from work. Logan removed his hand, and Daniel lowered his voice, asking what Logan, "dude, what are you doing here?"
