CHAPTER SIXTY

Logan knew he had to distance himself from the chaos he had unwittingly caused. Panic coursed through his veins as he limped away from the wreckage, trying to put as much distance as possible between himself and the judgmental stares of the store's patrons. All eyes were on him, and it felt as if the weight of the entire store was bearing down upon him.

His desperate retreat, however, was abruptly interrupted by a deep, authoritative voice calling out from behind. Logan turned, his heart sinking, as he faced some of the store's workers who had rushed to the scene.

One of the employees, a burly man with a stern expression, pointed a accusing finger at Logan. "It was him," he declared, confirming Logan's identity to the growing crowd of witnesses. "He's the one who caused this mess!"

The store's workers, all wearing matching uniforms, began to converge on Logan, their anger and frustration evident. They berated him for the destruction he had caused, their voices rising in unison like an
