Sam, visibly agitated, retorted, "Do you have any idea what you've ruined for me?"

Mr. Patrick, still playing his role, asked with apparent concern, "What happened, Sam? Tell me."

Sam's frustration grew as he questioned Mr. Patrick about the recent events. "Where were you all along. How can you disappear at the very moment I needed you the most."

In response, Mr Patrick shot back saying, "Can't you see the injury patches on my face Sam? Do you know where I've been all these while?" he snapped. "Do you think I went on a vacation or something?"

Sam, calming himself then responded saying, "I noticed, Patrick. What happened to you?"

Mr Patrick, slightly calming down, explained, "I was kidnapped. But don't worry, we'll find out who did it soon."

Sam, pretending to be surprised, added in response, "Kidnapped? That's terrible. I had no idea. Who's responsible."

Mr Patrick took a moment before replying, lying that he didn't know although he was tempted to expose Logan.
