-Break-Φ Ever since Maple went to talk with her father, she has started to fit in more in the village. She now speaks to all the other villagers and gets along with her dad. Sequoia has also continued to teach Maple about the outside world.Due to all this Maple is almost always smiling now, which warms my heart. But the best part is that she is a lot nicer to me. -Break-As I start to wake up, I try to move my body. I notice my hands and feet are restricted. I feel pain from trying to move my them, so I open my eyes to see my situation. I note that everything around me is dark, with just a little light coming through what I believe are planks. My hands and feet are chained in the stocks, it was the same kind that were put on me when I first arrived. My mouth also had cloth on it, stopping me from making noise. I also felt weak. It was like my muscles had been weakened.Unable to get out of the stocks, I use my legacy on both arms, which shatter these stocks. I then use the claws to remove the ones on my legs. After that, I broke open the top of where I was put, and it turned out I was in a storage area within the village. Throughout the area loud trumpets play, and then we hear, "His highest and the greatest power in all of the empire. High king Conchobar Ó Danu."Soon after this is said together with a group of armed Fanalis, a man with an average build walks through the most extravagant door in the room, and descends onto us all.He is covered from head to toe, in fine cloth and jewellery. This all gives him a great presence of authority and power, but even with all of this plus his guards, he doesn't grab my attention as much as Scáthach and Lugh did.He might be the high king but I feel like his existence doesn't command the authority of such a title.However, one thing that does is how quickly both Lugh and Scáthach's knees dropped when they saw him. Φ Following the beastkin's victory, they quickly took all of the humans captive and started to transport all of their possessions along with the bodies of fallen beastkin soldiers out.All of the human soldiers were killed for spilling the blood of members of the Tuatha Dé Dannan, and the civilians were to be executed by Lugh.However, due to the undisclosed situation, 35,000 of the humans had been spared.
