At the sound of what he just said, Doctor Joy frowned and Jennifer turned around towards her.
"Were you even listening to a word of what I have been saying?" Joy inquired with a stale stare on her face.
But before Gunther could get the chance to answer the question that had been flung towards his direction, Jennifer chimed in.
"I told you that his mother's ailment has gotten deep into his head. What he needs now is a psychiatric hospital and nothing other than that."
Gunther frowned at her, going ahead to say. "I think you are the one that needs it more. At least if it's going to help out with this bad manners of yours." Gunther replied with an emotionless expression on his face, returning his gaze to the doctor.
"Now tell me, what's the price of this VVIP section?" He inquired swiftly.
Even though the doctor was fed up and wanted to give up, she was able to contain it as it was one of her qualifications as a doctor and she went ahead to say.
"A hundred million Dollars." She shook her head.
"As I told you. It's not possible and you should forget."
"We should get down to making the payment already." He went ahead to say.
Jennifer could no longer contain her laughter at the sound of his words, letting it go so closely that she didn't even realize when a drop of tear escaped from her eyes.
The doctor could no longer control her rising anger as she was filled to her brim.
"I have had enough of you already. Do you think that amount that I just mentioned is some child's play?" She was so close to Gunther that she was able to sense his breath.
"The fact that you are not able to doesn't mean others can't," Gunther replied.
"If I am not able to do it. Then you have the right to chase me out." Gunther replied, his facial expression laced with so much determination.
Doctor Joy was caught on a fence, finding it difficult to make her stance.
Jennifer could see it in her eyes that she was finding it difficult to make a decision and she moved ahead towards joy.
"Don't tell me that you are going to listen to this piece of junk that can even afford three square meals daily.
It's way too obvious that he is just trying to waste our time and nothing other than that." He replied swiftly.
"And what if I can?" Gunther inquired.
"I am going to burn my license as a nurse and start working as a cleaner in this same hospital." She replied.
"And what if you are not? What's going to be my catch?" She inquired further.
A smile was playing on her lips, seeing that as the perfect time to get a reward.
"You can do whatever it is that you want with me," Gunther replied.
The smile that was on her lips deepened even more until it could no longer be hidden.
"Then we have a deal," Jennifer replied.
Doctor Joy's anger soon melted. She was afraid for Gunther.
Working with Jennifer for quite a while, she could tell the type of person that she was, especially with the junior staff.
She was going to squeeze out every single one of blood that Gunther had in his body if he eventually lost that bet
"And he eventually will." She muttered under her breath
Doctor Joy wished that there was a way that she could help but she knew that there was absolutely nothing that she could do about it.
It was all Gunther's decision so he had to face every consequence that came with it.
"I'm sure he is already prepared for this." She sighed and finally went ahead to say.
"You should come with me." She finally said.
They walked gradually, navigating through doors as they finally got to the room where the payment was going to be made.
"I'm paying with my card." He replied even before the question could be asked.
He remembered that his aging father had not told him the pin and he went ahead to ask through a text.
His phone made a beeping sound a short while after and he got a message from his dad with the card pin which turned out to be his birthday.
"I'm here." Doctor Joy exclaimed, dropping the terminal on the table and reaching out the card.
Gunther swiftly handed the card over to her. Immediately she felt the texture, there was a sudden pause.
She had never felt any card so unusual and satisfying all her life. Then a thought hit her. Could it be the legendary black platinum card?"
She thought. But Doctor Joy quickly swamped out the thoughts from her mind.
There was certainly no way that someone like Gunther would have such a card.
She went through the navigation of the machine that lay before her. Going through keys and passwords at regular intervals.
"At least this is not going to be a waste," Jenifer muttered under her breath with a cold air around her aura.
Taking the card from her hands, Doctor Joy swamped into the card slot. The machine went through a series of small beeps and after a few moments, a loud beep came afterwards.
"The machine was so fast to decline. That's the fastest I have ever seen. I think if it had been recorded, it would have broken a world record." Jenifer laughed.
But Doctor Joy who had seen the message that was boldly written on the machine was awe-struck by the words.
"Successful?" The words shivered under her breath.
That was the fastest transaction that she had ever seen, especially for such a large sum of money.
"I wouldn't be so sure if I were you." She muttered out to Jennifer and finally went ahead to say after she had recovered from the shock but her voice was still plain low.
"It was successful." There was an awful silence in the hall that made her words resound multiple times.
Jennifer, the nurse, couldn't believe what just happened. The doctor, Joy, was also taken aback but unfortunately faced a dilemma: should she stand by her bet and become a cleaner, or would she find another way out? Gunther stood anxiously by the door as the medical team carefully transferred his mother into the exclusive VVIP section. The room exuded an air of opulence, a stark contrast to the dilapidated state in which Gunther had found his mother. The medical professionals, now treating her with the utmost care, began their thorough examination. Dr. Joy, although conflicted, had a responsibility to her patient, and her professionalism overcame her internal struggles, pride and ego. She took the lead in coordinating the initial assessment, discussing the medical history with Gunther and gathering crucial information about his mother's condition. Gunther, still overwhelmed by the recent turn of events, couldn't help but feel a mix of hope and anxiety. His mother, frail and vuln
Gunther's rage was like a storm that only got louder. As he confronted Jennifer”. His hands moved swiftly, delivering sharp slaps as he couldn't contain his anger at her deceitful actions. Each slap echoed the betrayal he felt, leaving Jennifer stunned. "I'll think about what to do to you," Gunther declared, his voice laced with a menacing tone. With that, he turned on his heels and stormed out of the hospital, leaving Jennifer with both physical and emotional wounds. At the same time, Dr. Joy hurried after him, eager to calm the growing problem. "Gunther, please, let's talk about this," she pleaded, her concern evident in her eyes. She tried to reason with him, urging him to reconsider the repercussions of his actions. Despite her efforts, Gunther remained silent, his mind fixed on the mistreatment his mother had endured, due to his past finance. He couldn't allow such injustice to prevail. In the heat of the moment, he made a swift exit from the hospital, leaving behind a
The halls of the prestigious school buzzed with the fervor of speculation and rumors circulating like wildfire. "Ever heard the buzz about Ariel and Williams?" "Ariel, Gunther's girl, right?" "She got caught in a sneaky plot, cheated on him for money and got caught in bed, more videos might be posted on the group soon!" Ariel rushed past the whispers, cheeks on fire, hands clenched tight. "That loser... Why can't I just go after what makes me happy?" But she kept her frustration quiet. Rumors painted a picture all over campus, and countless eyes followed her every move, leaving her with no choice but to stay silent. Ariel, once a prominent figure with Gunther by her side, everyone knows about their love story and how Gunther worked his ass out to provide for her, found herself subjected to the whispers and pointed stares of her peers. The abrupt shift in her relationship status with Gunther had become the hot topic on campus, triggering a cascade of rumors that painted her d
Upon reaching Williams' house, they swiftly turned on the TV, expecting to find the media frenzy surrounding their school scandal. Surprisingly, the news had not hit the television yet. With a stroke of luck, it seemed the media had not managed to obtain any information about the recent events. The relief echoed in Williams and Ariel's expressions as they realized that, for the moment, their private affairs remained shielded from the public eye. The absence of the scandal on the news provided a temporary respite, allowing them a moment to strategize and navigate the potential fallout. As they watched the news unfold on the screen, they couldn't help but feel a sense of relief, knowing that the storm had not reached their doorstep at least not yet. However, the looming threat still hung in the air, and the question of who leaked the information lingered, casting a shadow over their temporary reprieve. In the cocoon of Williams' home, they found a brief sanctuary from the chaos outside
Gunther took a week off from school, dedicating himself and time to the intricacies of the young company and his staff. While reviewing the records of his company and its stockholders and shareholders holders. His focus intensified as he delved into the world of business, and stock, though he didn't really know how stock works, but he knew the meaning, eager to understand its dynamics and alliances. To his surprise, he discovered a surprising connection – the Drakes, the very company owned by Williams' father, were stockholders in his own company. As he sifted through the financial records, Gunther discovered that the Drakes held a relatively small share in his company. However, this modest and minor share investment turned out to be the primary revenue stream for the Drake company. A realization dawned upon Gunther – he possessed the power to terminate the deal, potentially causing financial turmoil for the Drakes.Thinking about what he had just discovered, Gunther muttered to h
Debra, eyes opened widely and slightly overwhelmed by the opulence of the Rolls Royce Cullinan, she hesitated for a moment before stepping into the luxurious vehicle. The rich aroma of leather filled the air as she settled into the plush seats. Gunther, donned in a sleek suit that complemented the sophistication of the car, smiled at her disbelief."You seem surprised," he remarked, glancing at her as he navigated through the evening traffic. The city lights began to flicker, creating a mesmerizing backdrop to their conversation.Debra couldn't help but voice her amazement. "This car is incredible, Gunther. I didn't expect you to own something like this."He chuckled, a mix of humility and pride in his voice. "Well, sometimes life surprises you, just for the record I ain't the owner of this whip. And, by the way, you look stunning tonight."Debra blushed, grateful for the dimmed interior concealing her reaction. As they approached the venue, the anticipation and excitement of the imp
In the police station, Debra underwent the necessary legal procedures, her persistence was evident in her attempts to reach Gunther. Despite her efforts, her request to speak with him was firmly declined, leaving her to move through the complex web of legalities on her own.As she anxiously waited, a nurse made her entrance into the station. A glimmer of hope sparked in Debra's eyes as she observed the nurse heading toward the area where Gunther was confined. It became clear to Debra that the nurse's purpose was to revive Gunther, enabling him to provide answers regarding the events he might be aware of or not.Lost in contemplation, Debra was snapped back to reality by a gentle tap on her shoulder from the police officer to whom she had handed the glass for investigation. He delivered the latest developments with a mix of authority and concern."The fingerprint results will be out in a matter of minutes," the police officer informed Debra, sensing the urgency of the situation. "Al
In the cold, sterile room, the officers loomed over Gunther, their interrogative glares intensifying. Gunther, though threatened, stood defiant, anchored by the bitter truth, they didn't wwnt to hear.Just as the officers prepared to escalate their force methods, the nurse burst into the room, presenting the results of the second test. She handed the report to the head investigator, who scanned it with furrowed brows."Negative? He tested negative for Molly. He isn't an addict and doesn't take it," the head investigator declared, shattering the tension that had gripped the room.Debra couldn't help but exhale, relief flooding her. The truth, a steadfast ally, had prevailed."On behalf of myself and the entire police involved in this case, we apologize for the inconvenience we may have caused you," the officer admitted to Gunther, acknowledging the error. One of the officers, having overheard Gunther scolding Debra earlier, stepped forward. He detailed Debra's efforts, from collecting
Debra removed her face mask, revealing her stunning features and radiant smile. The room gasped in collective shock, and Ariel was left to deal with the aftermath of this bombshell revelation. Her mind raced with questions, her heart reeling from the discovery that her former lover was now a powerful force in the business world, and that Debra, her former friend, was now his partner in every sense of the word. The room was electric with tension, as the audience struggled to comprehend the magnitude of Gunther's transformation. As Debra stood by the side of Gunther on the podium, a radiant smile on her face, Gunther fell to one knee, his eyes locked on hers. He brought out a small box, opened it, and revealed a stunning diamond ring. The room held its collective breath as he asked, "Would you do me the honor of being my wife?"Debra's response was immediate, her voice filled with joy. "Yes, yes, I would!" she exclaimed, as Gunther placed the ring on her finger. They embraced, their lov
Ariel's mind raced with questions as she tried to piece together the puzzle. She couldn't help but notice the way the woman seemed to command attention, her very presence drawing eyes from all over the room. And yet, she was hiding behind a mask, just like Gunther. What secrets were they hiding, and what did they have to do with the sudden turn of events in Ariel's life?As the evening wore on, Ariel found herself growing more and more uneasy, her eyes darting back and forth between Gunther and the mysterious woman. She knew she had to get to the bottom of this, to uncover the truth behind the mask. And she was determined to do just that, no matter what it took. Little did she know, the night was about to take a dramatic turn, and the revelations would be more shocking than she could ever have imagined.Jane and Michael turned and looked at the lady, their faces etched with curiosity. They seemed to be wondering who she was and what her connection was to Gunther and the Young family.
Jane's expression turned thoughtful. "But we need to be strategic about it. We can't just get up on stage and make the announcement without a plan in place. We need to think about the potential backlash, the Drakes' response, and how we'll handle it all."Gunther nodded, his face set in determination. "I know, Jane. I've already thought about all of that. We'll have a team in place to handle the logistics, and we'll be prepared for any eventuality. But I know one thing for sure - this is our moment, and we're going to make the most of it.”The following day, Jane walked into the courthouse, determined to verify the authenticity of the documents she had received from Lawyer Anthony. She had made an appointment with her trusted lawyer, Mr. Dwayne, to confirm that everything was in order. As she entered his office, she greeted him with a firm handshake and a resolute tone."Hello, Mr. Dwayne. Please, could you confirm that these documents are original and legitimate? I need to know if th
Debra gazed up at Gunther, her eyes filled with trust and confidence. "Okay, I'll wait for the right time," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. She knew that Gunther had a plan, and she was willing to follow his lead. "Just let me know what you want me to know," she added, her words laced with a sense of surrender.Gunther's face softened, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled. He wrapped his arms around Debra, pulling her close in a warm embrace. The tension between them was palpable, a spark of electricity that seemed to crackle in the air. They stood there for a moment, lost in the comfort of each other's arms, the world around them fading into the background. Finally, Gunther reluctantly pulled back, his hands lingering on Debra's shoulders. "I'll take care of everything," he promised, his voice low and husky. "Just trust me, okay?" Debra nodded, her eyes never leaving his face. She knew that Gunther would do whatever it took to protect her, to keep her safe. With
As they hugged, the world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the magic of their rekindled love. They stood there for a long moment, holding each other tight, savoring the warmth and comfort of each other's embrace. And as they finally pulled back, they shared a soft, gentle kiss, sealing their love forever."What took you this long, Gunther?" Debra asked, her voice filled with a mix of emotions - happiness, relief, and a hint of playful teasing. "I had always wanted to be with you, I loved you, even when Ariel treated you as trash. But I didn't want to seem or be perceived as desperate, I wanted you to do the honor as a man. I wanted you to come to me, to choose me, to prove that you truly cared."Gunther's eyes softened, his face filled with regret and gratitude. He took Debra's hand in his, his fingers intertwining with hers in a gentle, loving gesture."At least we are together now, that's the most important thing," he said, his voice filled with convict
"I've missed you, Debra," he said, his voice low and husky, filled with a longing that was hard to ignore. "We haven't really had time to talk well after school, you know. Everyone has been trying to figure out their life, find their place in the world. I guess this was the right time for us to meet again, to reconnect and see where life has taken us."Debra's gaze never wavered, her eyes still locked on Gunther's, searching for any sign of insincerity. But all she saw was a deep regret, a genuine longing to make amends and start anew. She nodded slowly, her voice barely above a whisper."I've missed you too, Gunther. I've thought about you often, wondered what could have been if we had stayed in touch."Gunther's face lit up with a soft smile, his eyes sparkling with hope. "I've thought about that too, Debra. I've thought about what I did, how I hurt you, and I'm so sorry. I want to make it right, to show you that I'm not that same person anymore."Debra's expression softened, her he
Jane's eyes narrowed, her gaze piercing through Gunther's defenses. "Come on, stop deceiving yourself," she said, her voice firm but gentle. "You know who you are, Gunther. You're the richest person in the country. If you want her, you would get her to leave with you. Or do you just want to play around with her, get intimate, and that's all?"Gunther's face darkened, his jaw clenched in response. "You don't understand, Jane. It's not that simple. I can't just buy love or affection. And even if I could, I wouldn't want to. I'm not that kind of person."Jane raised an eyebrow, her expression skeptical. "Really? Then what kind of person are you, Gunther? The kind who lets fear and doubt hold them back from true connection? The kind who settles for superficial relationships because they're afraid to dive deeper?"Gunther's eyes flashed with anger, but Jane could see the hint of truth in her words. She knew she had struck a nerve, and she pressed on, her voice softening."Listen, Gunther.
After a moment, Lawyer Anthony looked up from the computer screen, his eyes fixed on Jane. "I'm done with the typing, Miss Jane," he said, his voice firm but nervous. "It's time for the printing, please. Could you send me some A4 paper?"Jane leaned in to read what he had typed, her eyes scanning the documents quickly. Then, she nodded and took over, doing the printing herself. As the papers emerged from the printer, she handed them to Lawyer Anthony, who began to review them carefully."And where is he supposed to sign?" Jane asked, her eyes scanning the documents.Lawyer Anthony looked up, a hint of confusion in his eyes. "Who is he? I thought you were the one signing," he said, his brow furrowed.Jane shook her head, her eyes locked on Gunther, who was watching the scene with a mixture of curiosity and amusement. "No, it's not me," she said, her voice firm. "It's him."She pointed to Gunther, who raised an eyebrow, his expression unreadable. Lawyer Anthony's eyes widened in surpris
But just as he was about to exit the building, a commotion erupted behind him. The blood of the lawyer who had been hit by the first Mafia boy had begun to roll across the floor, and another lawyer had spotted it, raising an alarm. The building was suddenly in chaos, with people screaming and running in all directions.Panic set in as everyone scrambled to get out of the building, talking frantically on their phones and rushing to safety. The Mafia boy knew he had to act fast, or risk being caught. He quickened his pace, pushing through the crowds and finally bursting out of the exit door into the cool night air.He didn't stop running until he reached the prearranged meeting point, where the other Mafia boys were waiting for him. They quickly transferred the lawyer's body into a waiting van, and sped off into the night, leaving behind a trail of chaos and confusion. The lawyer's family would never see him again, and the Drake company would soon find itself at the center of a deadly s
