Chapter six

Gunther signed the documents and afterward, he handed them over to his father.

"Welcome back." His father whispered into his ears, hugging him once again.

He was glad to be back, sipping in a really deep breath as he spoke. His father brought Forward a card and handed it over to him.

"What's this father?" He could not help but inquire.

"A platinum card." He finally explained. "It's Worth ten billion dollars and it's my happy birthday gift to you." He explained m

Immediately he spat out the words from his mouth, the car fell off swiftly to the floor, his heart still beating hard against his chest.

He went down to the card and picked it up. The highest amount of money that he had ever held all his life was the sum of ten thousand dollars gotten as a donation for his mother's treatment.

If anyone had ever told him that he was going to be holding such a large amount of money, he never would have believed.

"But." He was about to say but his father would not allow him to spit out even a single word from his mouth as he placed his hands over his mouth.

"Don't say anything, Gunther. You deserve every single bit of what is happening." He finally said.

He clapped his hands slightly and someone walked swiftly into the place. It was a familiar aura making him turn around to see who it was.

It was the same lady that had rescued him.

"She is Jane. The mafia lord. She will be one of your subordinates from henceforth in case there is anything wrong." He explained.

Gunther continued to stare at her and a slight smile escaped from her lips which was soon replaced by an emotionless expression.

"I know it's really strange for a lady to be a mafia lord."

"You are slaying both ways." Gunther finally added politely.

"I would like to introduce you to the others too tomorrow." He finally said.

Gunther's eyes met with a sudden pause. If there was anything that he wanted, it would be to see his unconscious mother and pay for her medical bills.

"I appreciate all of this but my foster mother is sick and I need to see her tomorrow, Father." He finally said.

"It's okay son. You can always go to see her. I don't think that it's going to do much if I decide to come along with you.

Hope she gets better soon so we can go together while I am still here." He tapped Gunther slightly by his shoulders as a long sigh escaped from his mouth

But Gunther was so engrossed that he hardly noticed what was going on. Mr. Gerald exchanged glances with the Jane

"Take him to his room.' He must be really tired after everything that had happened today." His father finally added.

With a slight bow, Jane led him over to his spacious room as he fell on the bed swiftly. The room was so luxurious with even a swimming pool in the corridor.

He had the most wonderful steam that he could ever ask for all his life. His heart was still beating hard against his chest as though it was going to burst through.

For the first time in a while, he had a really good meal and afterwards had the most wonderful sleep that he could ever have in all his life.

He drew a really deep breath as he fell on the bed and slept off swiftly.

Soon it was morning when he woke up. As soon as he woke up, he heard a slight tap on the door.

Walking slowly, he parted it open and noticed that it was one of the servants that was working around.

Immediately their eyes crossed paths, the lady bowed swiftly.

"I'm Helena. I will be your maid for today. Do you need anything, Young master?" He inquired.

A really deep sigh escaped from his lips as he did not know of all of the luxuries.

"A personal maid? The words escaped from his mouth. I haven't gone handicap so why do I need one?" He responded swiftly.

But even with the warm sensation in his voice, Helena could not help but shiver hard with fear.

"Please, young master. Please forgive me If I have done anything wrong." She pleaded, making another sigh to escape from his Lips.

"You have done absolutely nothing wrong." Gunther Smiled swiftly.

He walked slowly towards her and helped her up. Helena was shocked by his kind gesture as she bowed slightly.

For that morning, he had just one goal in mind. He took his bath and ate

They had gotten him a pair of clothes and he got swiftly into it, glittering in the ray of the son looking more like a god.

Staring at the mirror that was right before him, he smiled briefly to himself.

The car had already been prepared for Gunther and even though he never wanted to step into it, he knew that there was absolutely nothing that he could do about it.

He stepped into the car as the silent sleeks engines spoke for themselves, sailing through the road.

Passersby turned their head to catch a glimpse of the stunning sight that was lying right before them.

Their lungs snapped swiftly out of the air at the beautiful sight. Soon, they were at the hospital and Gunther Called the driver.

"You should stop here. I want to have some spare time with my mother and I don't want any trouble." He noted.

"Keep out the watch here." Gunther finally ended.

His attention was to take his mother to the VIP ward so that she was going to get the best of treatment.

He got out of the car and walked off to the low-budget ward where she had always been kept.

His heart beat even harder with every step that he took.

Soon, he got to her room and slid the door open as he was hit by fresh air.

He was hit by the hard truth that laid before him. The room was empty. His heart almost skimmed.

Possibilities about things that could have gone wrong already running through his head as he kept on muttering under his breath.

"No mum. You know anything cannot happen to you. Not when you have suffered so much and it's time for you to enjoy all your hard labor." His eyes flickered as he continued to stare.

Soon, he heard the loud pattern of feet making him turn around toward the direction of the sound.

It was nurse Jennifer, the nurse who was in charge of attending to his mother as she had a piece of clothing.

Immediately she laid her eyes on him, a scornful frown sprinkled all over her face and her nostrils twitched.

Not caring about her attitude, Gunther made his way swiftly towards her with demands flooding his eyes.

"Tell me. Where is my mother." He yelled at the top of his voice while she continued to stare at him with so much contempt in her eyes

"Answer." He added that she was not making any attempt to answer his questions.

"I threw her off to the corridor. She is only occupying space and this place is needed for some other patients.

Both of us know that you can not afford to pay her medical bills. You can't always keep living off of charity, you know." Jennifer added with every trace of mockery in her eyes.

Gunther could not believe the words that he just heard as a loud exclamation escaped from his mouth.

"What?" He exclaimed at the top of his voice.
