Lynnette’s point of view

My system numbed to the pain, tears muddled above my cheeks. Lyra had claim she felt someone reaching out to us awhile ago but that could be her delusion.

We’re damned, there’s no one coming to help us. The said presence she felt gave her the needed energy to clot the blood draining from the invented wound.

Albeit the wolfsbane was out of our system, Lyra still complained about the effects still bothering her. She couldn’t heal me when she tried doing it.

If it wasn’t for the imaginative presence she felt, she wouldn’t have acquired the energy to stop me from bleeding to death.

Once the bleeding stopped, the torture lessened along. I struggled with the shackles straightening the injured leg.

A sigh escaped my lips recalling to what obtained the physical pain. I stayed laid on the floor, pain searing from both the dislocated arm and a punched shoulder.

Just a little more rest and Lyra would be in shape to heal. I glanced to my side, observing
