Lynette’s point of view

My attention centered on my father, I had ask him the most important question, one that cored my curiosity and he went silent.

As though contemplating whether or not, he should let me know what I curiously need to learn.

Seconds ticked by and I was about calling the silence out when his voice beat me to it. “We went to a seer, and request her to look into your origin, your existence, whatever that accounts to your specialty.” He began, and I realize he was going to narrate in full detail rather than give straight answers.

“The Seer spoke about a prophecy, she said something about the sacred red moon, when it shuns at its peak, your fire would burn, it would burn so bright an attraction from it would spread all over. She said, many would crave you and none would offer your safety.”

I was following, grasping whatever I could grasp from the tale, trying to create a connection with it all.
