About thirty minutes later, she was ready to go, and her driver took her to go see Lorenzo.
she sent a message to him as she went, which said;
'I'm on my way to the Pretoria fountain, hope you won't keep me waiting? xoxo'
she sent it
Bianca inhaled deeply. she felt sick with anticipation for she was going to meet the guy she'd been chatting with since four years. she really wanted something to distract her from the pain of loosing her dad. Allegra wasn't here to do the job, and she was yet not ready to get busy with mafia business now. meeting with Lorenzo was a good option. how was he going to be? hot? hunky? lean? huge? was he going to be exactly the way she fantasised? or was he going to fit into Allegra's description of ugly? how were they going to click? how would she address him? she didn't know how she felt. they were almost at the location. she glared at the driver, wasn't he going to drive fast? okay, while she waited, she was going to practice how she'd relate with him. she'd graciously offer him a handshake after she introduced herself. no! that was too formal, she'd just....
"Miss Bianca, we are here" the driver said to her, interrupting her thoughts.
"oh!" said Bianca, they'd reached already.
"I'll call you when I'm ready to go" she said to the driver as she got down from the car.
there were people around here. there weren't much but there were still people. how was she going to find Lorenzo?
she looked at her phone. he hadn't replied her text. maybe she should call him and know where he was. that was a better option.
she called him. the phone rang. he picked it.
"It's Bianca, where are you?I'm here already" she asked,as she tried to keep her voice steady
"I'm here too. the fountain, I'm seated there."
she went nearer. the venue Lorenzo had chosen had a large fountain. she'd been here before with Capria, when they were kids. the fountain had about four people seated on it. she was still on the phone with Lorenzo.
"I see four people" she said
then she saw a guy wave at her and she figured it was him. she cut the call and went to him.
"Hello, Bianca" he said when she got to him
"hi...." she trailed off. she was right. she knew she didn't settle for less. she zoned out as she stared at Lorenzo up close. his jet black hair was gelled to the back, leaving a few strands on his forehead, his eyes were grey and inquisitive, chiselled jaw, with a stubble beard which for a split second, made her fantasise about running her hands through it. he escaped the curse of being a movie actor, only by his nose. he wore a neck roller sweater, which was good, for cladding his muscular frame. she didn't know, but she'd always felt deep down, that this man would turn out to be gorgeous when she met him but now, staring at him, he exceeded her expectations.
And there was something else she felt as she stood in the same space as him. something she couldn't quite place her hands on
"Bianca?"
"oh! um-- sorry, I was lost..."
he smiled "that's okay"
"do you want to sit or should we walk?"
"um, let's walk"
they moved away from the fountain, walking in slow steps.
"I know you told me a lot about yourself during our chats," he began "but I want to hear it from you" he looked at her
"alright," she flushed "I school at Los Angeles, I love lasagna but I'd kill for risotto"
"I love ball dances" she stopped when he looked at her
"I mean, a ball, masquerade balls, I love dancing at those events"
"what are you studying in college," he suddenly asked
"um-- law..." she said "but I don't know" she added before she could stop herself
"why? are you unsure of your career?"
"uh...kinda" she put in, she knew she wasn't going back to college again. she had to be a don. she had a legacy ahead of her. but she couldn't tell him that.
"you're being forced by your parents?"he asked
"I guess so" she lied. she wanted to study law, she just wasn't going to get the chance to be a lawyer.
"I've been there. my parents" he said "they wanted me to study the course they chose but I wasn't having it"
she looked at him, she was intrigued now.
"I built a business from the scratch, now I run a company"
"what do you guys specialise in?"
"making and selling jewelry "
"wow!" she exclaimed, she felt there were more sides to him
"so that explained that flirty text, that day"
Lorenzo laughed, a deep, rich sound, it made her insides quiver
"I didn't take it that way", he said "I was truthful about... what I said"
she beamed. "really? that means you thought about me often?"
"yes, I did!" he said. Bianca didn't expect his straight answer, she really didn't know how to feel about that now.
"if you must know, I lost my boyfriend because of that text" she said
"oh!" he was silent for a while
"I'm sorry"
"for what?" she asked "for thinking about me?"
"obviously not!"
"it's not your fault" she said "Matt just turned out to be a jerk"
"I lost my lady that day too, because of the text"
"wow", Bianca laughed "she saw your phone?"
he nodded
"we are both alike," she said "dramatic exes"
"oh, Vero wasn't my girlfriend" he said
"then who was she? a fling? hook-up?" she felt this guy was mysterious. he didn't have a girlfriend?
"yeah, something like that"
"okay" she said "so tell me about yourself, Lorenzo"
a car swooshed past them, almost hitting her but she dodged it on time and swayed, luckily, he caught her.
"are you okay?" he asked
she was far from okay. she didn't know if her heart was playing games with her or doing a beating competition right now. the part of her waist where Lorenzo held in an effort to break her fall, felt like it was sizzling. she straightened herself from his grasp.
"I'm fine" she flushed again. she'd been doing that since she met him.
"won't you tell me about yourself?" she asked in a light tone, in a bid to break the awkward silence that now went on between them.
"okay, just like you, I like risotto, but I'm really not a fan of lasagna" he started "I work, in fact, my work life takes over everything in my life"
"yes" she affirmed "I thought as much"
"you'd always tell me that you're busy with work any time we chatted" she said
"well, I wasn't lying "
"so....no girlfriends?"
"none"
"do you get how weird that sounds?" it was strange that someone like him didn't have a woman in his life. like, with the kind of physique and face he dad, he could snag any woman he wanted.
"nope" he smiled "you tell me"
"you look like this and you don't have a lady?"
"do you mean 'this' in a good or bad way?" he teased
"don't act like you do not know what I mean. don't you look at yourself in the mirror?" she knew exactly what he was up to.
"thanks for the compliment, Bianca" he said "I really don't have a woman in my life"
"my work life is basically everything"
"well, that's about to change" it was evening now, she didn't want her mom to find out that she went out. she had to start heading home.
"how?" he asked
"you have me now" she said with a tone of finality.
she wanted this. his company. someone to take her mind off the worries concerning the mafiadom and the pain she still went through because of her dad's death.
"let's meet tomorrow" she suggested " if that is fine with you"
"sure" he quickly answered. "I'll treat you to a meal"
"that's cool" she grinned "I'll be busy during the day, so let's meet in the evening" she had martial arts training with June in the morning and her uncle Luigi, was going to take all her remaining time.
"fine" he said
she smiled at him again. she was really going to anticipate meeting him tomorrow.
" you can hit me now" June said. she was learning to fight and June was her opponent and her teacher. according to her mum, martial arts was essential for her. her mom was hell bent on making June teach her, amidst her constant opposition. she didn't need martial arts to survive in mafiadom, her dad didn't even know how to fight. he was always armed with guns and she'd seen him use it when she was a kid. she didn't know why her mom tried to make her different from the other mafia bosses before her."focus BB" again with the BB. she didn't want them to call her boss, not just yet. but her mom wouldn't listen, she made sure that everyone called her boss Bianca. "call me Bianca" she widened her legs as she made a hit at June"I'm not allowed to do that" said June, dodging the hit."well, I'm not comfortable with y'all calling me BB" she protested"you have to get used to it" said June "we will go back to attacking later, let's go to defense""okay...""I'll hit now!" said June, then fl
"yes," said Bianca "this is the place" she'd gotten herself prepared for the outing or she didn't know if she could call it a date with Lorenzo.she looked at her sprained ankle. it was good, it already started healing because June had done something about it.her mom didn't know that she went out so she had to be back before her mom found out. she was sure her mom wouldn't fancy the idea of her meeting someone when she was supposed to be learning family business, but her mom couldn't blame her, she needed a breather.Lorenzo had been quite specific on where they were going to meet and the dinner aspect of their meeting. what did he plan for her?"don't forget to come pick me up by exactly..." she looked at her watch "eight o clock" she said to the driver as she got out of the car."yes, BB" replied the driver, then he drove off.she got into the eatery, taking slow steps because her ankle still pained her. once she entered, she noticed there was no one in the restaurant, only Lorenz
"why do the soldiers do all the dirty work?" Bianca asked her uncle Luigi. it was forty five minutes after eight in the morning and her uncle showed her around the warehouse behind their house. even after all her uncle Luigi taught her yesterday, her mom still insisted on her learning afresh today again. her mom had suddenly turned to a disciplinarian since her dad's death. she guessed the passing of her father was still taking its toll on her mom."they have the lowest ranks in all mafia families" answered her uncle Luigi"oh" she exclaimed "what about the capos?" she asked"they have a higher rank than the soldiers" he said "they are assigned to take care of the soldiers""how?" she didn't understand"each capo is assigned a particular amount of soldiers, to control and give them orders " her uncle explained"are the soldiers usually bigger than the capos?" she asked"it isn't always like that" he said "in most cases, yes"so mafia families were all about hierarchy? this was a new e
He hummed a song as he stepped out of the shower. he'd just called his office and gave others here and there. he sometimes wished he could book a quick flight back to where he stayed before his dad's death. he wished he could go back to the past but he couldn't.Now, here he was, burdened and running an illegal business, that was his legacy and getting dressed to go meet a lady who'd effortlessly taken his mind off everything.as he wore his shirt, he heard a knock on his door. the person who knocked entered the room before he could answer. it was his mum. her knock on the door was just a sound to alert him of her presence, not to seek his permission to enter the room."are you going somewhere?" came her hushed, guilt-ridden voice."obviously" he replied icily. he hadn't forgotten about the part his mother played in the death of his dad. in fact, ever since he found out, he hadn't spoken a word to her"it's been long since we spent time together" she said "I don't have time for that"
"so what do you think about it, Bianca?" her mom asked.it was eight o clock in the morning. she, her uncle Luigi and her mom sat down together, with some soldiers and capos surrounding them. they looked at a map which was on the table.it contained directions to a route in Sicily, where the Sforzas usually passed through after smuggling loads of stolen goods.she, her uncle Luigi and her mom had began to plan an attack on the Sforzas. they wanted to let their enemies know that they were getting ready for war. "it's perfect", said a darkly satisfied Bianca."so this is the route where the Sforza soldiers are gonna take when returning?" she asked"yes. it is" her uncle Luigi replied."that's where our soldiers are going to attack?""yes"she loved the act of revenge, especially when it was for her father. her soldiers were going to attack the Sforzas and plunder themshe turned to the capos that stood around."show no mercy" she said. "lead the soldiers. hide yourselves and wait for t
he hadn't expected the call. he hadn't even expected himself to agree to meet her for the second time today.he didn't have much work to do right now, so he picked up his keys and went to his car.he drove to the venue and he saw her standing by the side of her car, looking dejected.he went to her."what's the problem?" he asked hershe forced a smile. "it's my mom" she said "I had a fight with her and now I don't want to go back home""it's fine. we can go to my house " he found himself saying to her. he hardly ever visited his bungalow but he always sent workers to keep it clean. he didn't want her to visit his family house where he lived in because most of his illegal mafia activities took place there and it required confidentiality."really?" she grinned broadly "that's cool"he led her to his car and began to drive her to his house. on the way, they stopped to buy groceries.they finally reached his house. "wow!" she said as she came out of the car "it's a beautiful house""tha
A loud annoying sound rang out. it was her alarm. she made it annoying so she wouldn't be able to ignore it. she yawned as she lazily stretched her hand and put it off. she picked her phone. it was eight o clock in the morning. events of the previous day came flooding in. she picked up her phone , unlocked it and scrolled through the call log. she stopped when she found the number she was looking for. it was Lorenzos she inhaled as she waited for him to answer the call. "uh... good morning, Bianca" she heard him say over the phone. "how was your night?" he asked "it was good" she replied there was a momentary silence between them and she knew he was waiting for her to tell him why she called this early. "let's meet" she said "let's meet up, Lorenzo" "uh... sure" she could clearly hear the surprise in his voice. "I'll text you the location, okay?" he said "that'll be great, since you're good at doing it" she said "okay, see you" he replied and hung up. she let out an exc
Bianca's mom glared at her. "where are you having those plans?" her mom asked"it doesn't matter, mom" there was a moment of silence, tension brewing."you're going to meet that boy again?" her mom's voice was laced with derision.she rolled her eyes."you met him a day before yesterday, isn't that enough?""it's not!" she blurted out before she could stop herself."can't you put a halt to those insignificant plans and follow me? your presence at the meeting with the Grecos will be of greater good "Bianca scoffed."my plans are insignificant but yours aren't?" she countered"they aren't just my plans!" her mom thundered "it's not personal, Bianca. our family is celebrating a truce and you're needed""so we are now yelling?" she shouted, to match her mom's voice"you have to come with us. you'll make your debut in the mafiadom. our boss needs to be known""I'm not ready to make any debut" she replied. "I told you I wasn't ""then what do I tell them when they ask about you?" "tell
She ought to be showing more decorum, but his tongue moved the silk of her top against her nipple in delicate friction. The dampness of his mouth enclosed her in heat, sucking and inciting. She was lost, groaning with delight as he tortured her, licking and moving that damp fabric, squeezing the swell of her breast just enough to push more blood into the tip.She was going to climax from this alone, she thought, working her nails with agitation against his shirt, thinking she should stop this, but she was compelled to keep going because it felt so damned good. Her waistband released and his other hand slid in, confident and possessive, cupping soaked lace, saying something in Italian she didn’t have the wherewithal to interpret, but he sounded pleased. Like he was complimenting her. She absolutely flowered when he sounded so appreciative and admiring. He held his palm steady for her to grind herself into the heel of his hand. She moaned with pleasure as her arousal became acute. She t
With a little sob, she finally capitulated, softening and letting him take control. Her reward was a wash of delirious pleasure. Suddenly she felt what this kiss was doing to her. Her blood was hot, her erogenous zones sensitized and singing. His body seemed to envelop hers in sexual need. She was so steeped in desire, her knees folded. She would have gone anywhere with him in that moment. Would have let him do anything. She wanted him to cover her and push inside her and take her to a place where nothing could touch her.His assertiveness eased. His hand moved soothingly over her back. His damp lips tenderly caressed hers until they broke apart to gasp for air. He tucked her head under his jaw and held her ear against his pounding heart. She rested there, trying to catch her breath, listening to his heart slam, feeling like she’d been running and now the ache of exertion was catching up to her.He was hard, she realized, and she panged again with longing for this to be real, for the
Adam and Shirley had gone to visit Adam's parents. It was long overdue since his granny's party. She knew that this day would surely come and surprisingly, she felt neutral. She wasn't nervous at all.She and Adam sat in his parent's magnificent living room and she busied her mind with how beautiful the parlor was. The chandeliers above were a once in a lifetime sight. The cushions were soft and lovely as hell. She wondered how long she was going to enjoy this; being Adam's fake girlfriend and seeing all this luxury.Adam's parents approached them. She gulped as she began to feel a little nervous."They're here. Act natural" Adam whispered to her"Good day, sir and madam" she greeted Adam's parents"Goodday" they repliedHis parents opted for small talk with Shirley, asking her how she met him and her favourite dish and clothes as she nibbled on the snacks they offered her. Then finally, they asked her about her parents."My mom passed away when I was three and my dad is... alive" Shi
She hadn’t known any kiss could feel like this. like a drug. like a craving. she swept her hands up and down his sides and around to his back, tracing the indent of his spine and urging him to crush her because his weight felt so good against her.“this is all I think about,” he growled against her cheek, thumbs circling and circling her distended nipples, sending runnels of heat and need deep into her loins. His knee barely suggested inserting itself between hers and she flowered open, accepting his hard thigh against her mound with a shaken gasp of gratitude. While the edge of his teeth stole down her neck and he sucked on her earlobe and swept his tickling caress across her breasts, all her focus drilled down to the bright, hot place where his hard thigh pinned itself to her pulsing flesh. She was moving against him, she realized. seeking those sharp, piercing bolts of pleasure. she was as shameless as she was mindless. her hands were clenched in his hair and she was arching and sh
After Allie had returned from the resort with Luke, she went for a medical check up. She had to check the health of her baby. Luckily for her, the doctor said her baby was safe and stress free. She'd been feeling happier than usual these days. Love did it. Her insecurities in her marriage had been cleared as Luke had vowed to focus on her and their baby. Today was a tuesday and she and Luke went on a baby shopping spree. Returning with a happy mood and ignoring the bitchy Rachel, they both went to their room.Allie had something to tell Luke. Something she'd been thinking about for some time now. The foundations of their marriage were wrong and she wanted them to do a final thing to set it right."Let's get married again, Luke" she saidLuke fell silent for a beat and it made her flustered. "It was a contract marriage at first. It wasn't right for us. Let's get married again. A real marriage this time. Based on love, trust, peace and perseverance" she said thoughtfully.A huge smile
Bennett painted kisses across her shoulders and she inhaled his fresh sun, sea, and hot-man scent, the heat from his body engulfing her. Her nipples puckered against the triangles of her top and she swallowed, noticing there was no moisture left in her mouth. He was plastered against her, and being in his bedroom—a beautifully decorated space dominated by this huge bed—felt incredibly intimate. She felt as if she belonged there, that being in his arms was where she needed to be.No, she was doing it again, reading more into a situation than there was. This was just sex and if she was going to become mushy, then she should roll away and put some distance between them until she regained a modicum of control. His hand settled over her breast and she knew she was fooling herself, she had no intention of applying the brakes to stop this runaway train. Her tongue twisted around his, and she arched her back to press her nipple into his palm. She was putty in his hands...Rachel murmured her
‘I can make you feel good, Rachel, better than before,’ he said. ‘Let me take you to bed, where I’ll make you forget all the chaos of the last few days and remind you of what it is to feel sexy. Feminine, powerful. Wanted beyond all meaning.’He saw the capitulation in her eyes, the need to be in his arms. He lifted one eyebrow. ‘Yes?’ he prompted.‘Yes.’Thank God and all his angels and arch angels.Picking up her hands, Bennett tugged her to him so that her lips were an inch from his. ‘Too much talking,’ he murmured. ‘Definitely not enough kissing.’‘I agree,’ she replied, her sweet breath fluttering against his lips.‘Slide your thigh over mine,’ he told her.‘Why?’ she asked but did as he requested.‘So that you’ll be more comfortable when I do this...’ he said before slanting his mouth over hers, tracing the seam of her lips with his tongue. She tasted like the woman he’d met before, as an awesome memory should. But this kiss was tinged with something different, it was deeper and
Rachel felt like a total looser. She felt numb. She didn't want to think about anything as she packed her bags. She'd failed. Again and again. She immediately hailed a cab and it took her to the airport. She'd already booked a quick flight back home. She didn't want to go to Luke's house when she returned. Instead she wanted to seek comfort in Bennett. She was the one responsible for causing the fire at the hotel. Since she arrived, she'd been keeping a tail on Luke and Allie and eavesdropping on their conversations. Luckily, she could do that. She knew Allie was going to confess to Luke after they'd had sex and she couldn't let that happen, that was why she started the fire because that was the only option that came to her mind. After the fire outbreak, she was happy that she'd caused a disruption to Allie's plans. She thought it was going to be hard for Allie after the fire outbreak. She didn't know that Allie would blurt out her feelings to Luke like that. And Luke loved her too. S
He lifted her, dress riding up at the same time, and sat her on the cold marble of the table by the door. Before she could decide what she thought of that, he pushed her legs apart and stepped between them so they were eye to eye, mouth to mouth...Kissing again. Deeply. Unreservedly. The fine lace of her new Parisian panties snapped. She gasped and closed her teeth on his bottom lip, waiting... There. He touched her, stroking lightly, just a tantalizing caress that made her flesh pulse for more. After a long, breathless moment he easily deepened his caress into her slippery folds.Encouraging him with moans of pleasure, she inched forward and layered on openmouthed kisses, letting him know how good he was making her feel as he caressed her. Velvety waves of pleasure rolled outward from his touch, making her limbs weak and tingly, her core tight and eager. With clumsy fingers, she undid his shirt buttons, wanting to taste his skin.He took his hands off her long enough to yank his shi
