Levi spent time in the ward telling his father all that had happened while he was hospitalized though he kept some details out.

The child-like expression on Thomas as he listened attentively and nodded sometimes caused Levi's chest to feel heavy but he kept going and hid his reaction.

"Father, you don't have to worry about anything. When you get out of this place, you will ride in those cars only ministers drove when I was younger and we'll live in a beautiful, gigantic house like you always wanted."

Thomas' eyes widened with awe and he was even more cooperative with the nurse. He ate his food without causing a fuss and even took his medicines which were usually quite difficult for them to get him to use.

Levi suppressed his sadness and smiled. "Good father... You just have to get well soon then you can leave this place grandly and live with me. I can afford to take care of you now."

'I can also afford to repay all the sacrifices you made for me when I was younger,' Levi didn't utter
