170: A Royal Descendant

Levi made a decision resolutely and watched quietly for some minutes as Lincoln ate his meal a little bit slower now.

When he was done, the guards trashed the paper bags and Levi helped him up.

"I'll send you back to the hotel now. I have to deal with something important."

"I thought we were going sightseeing," Lincoln frowned as they left the ward.

Levi almost facepalmed. "After what happened, you still want to go sightseeing?"

He couldn't tell if Lincoln was acting carefree or just being stupid.

"I told you that the attack wasn't meant for me. It was for you. Besides, although we have businesses here, they are all handled under fake aliases and managing directors so I can't think of anyone that'd want to target me upon my arrival here."

"That's the point," Levi almost snapped as the elevator doors closed.

"You shouldn't have been here. The attack was for me but now they'll target you too. You shouldn't get roped into my personal matters."
