A furious glimmer formed in his eyes as he opened the car door after confirming the driver's pay.

He shut the door behind him and marched forward. Going straight to Avery's car, he opened the passenger's seat and slid into it.

“Drive out of the way so the innocent man can pass,” he ordered.

“Yes, boss.” She smiled and turned the car around.

Thankfully, there were no other cars beside the stairs, he thought.
