Chapter 47
Elijah was brought back to reality by the rattling sound coming from the window of the car. He opened his eyes, and instantly felt the rush of a gentle breeze. Every time these flashbacks occurred, he ended up feeling a strange kind of weakness. This time wasn't any different. However, he already had plans for tonight, and nothing was going to stop it.

With a determined look on his tired face, he dragged himself out of the car and headed straight into the house. Every step he took felt more difficult than the last, but the plan was simple. No matter what happened tonight, he needed to get Williams Carter on his side. That was his easiest ticket to the executives.

He pushed the door to his room open, and the first thing he saw was Snow, staring at him with wagging tails. "Bloody hell," He muttered, too tired to get into an argument.

"I thought you had left." He shut the door behind him and went straight to his closet.

"You don't seem mad at least," Snow said.
