Memories of the Past – Rise to Power

Nytri somehow survives that but her memories of how she survived is gone, she remembers eating a spider monster corpse and acquiring its skills as her own, she couldn’t use some skill because she didn’t have the body part to do it, some she made up for it with EP but some like flight was impossible since she didn’t have any wings. She found out she could absorb skills by watching and eating, if she studies a skill continuously, she can break it into components on how each section works and replicate the skill, the second way is through eating and that is obvious.

After living with the monsters, Nytri realized the only way to survive is to become a monster, so she didn’t hesitate to change her body to use skills she didn’t have access to like poison manipulation, thread manipulation, energy sense, and others. After all, if everyone is becoming an animal, change into one so they don’t come and devour you.

One of the challenges Nytri was facing was against golems,

Nytri is looking around the dungeon on the 14th floor, she is in a hallway which has many paths to other directions and seems to be hanging because of those paths as there is nothing below the ground, actually you’ll land on the 34th floor if you fall down.

She goes for a while then she sees golems for the first time, the golems have variations as some have 4 legs, 2 legs or more or less, they move slowly except those with more legs since they move faster. Their sizes were ranging from 3 to 8metres

Nytri thoughts, “What are those things? They seem to be slow. I should hide in the shadows and observe.” She flies to the ceiling and blends with the shadows, she watches them with information magic,

Nytri observes it so much she starts to see the flow of energy in it, she looks towards another part of the dungeon hallway then she sends her energy there and tries to mimic the flow of energy in the golems. After 8 hours

Nytri’s thoughts, “That’s good, I can recreate them, but it seems to be weaker and smaller. I’ll let it try to fight and try to control it, it doesn’t seem to think as they also move just like the go~le~ms, golems.”

After a few seconds, “Huh, they aren’t attacking my golem, they must think it’s part of them. Then push them off the ground.” Her golem tries to push a golem off and after a few tries it succeeds in pushing one off, Nytri waits as her clay golem pushes all the others off when they get close to the edge.

Nytri’s thoughts, “That’s good enough, I should try to make more of them, it would be great if I could make more and let them stay with me, I don’t think they will be good at hunting but I’ll try.”

Her stomach growls, “I should find something to eat.” She comes out of the shadow and she flies to the higher floor and hunts a wolf monster, she sliced it up before it even knew she was there. She takes it to her nest and eats the wolf.

***MEMORY REWIND END***

As she grew stronger, she challenged the other monsters in the dungeon, earning their respect and fear. But Nytri's ultimate goal was to escape the dungeon and seek a free life from the nobles who had betrayed her. She was satisfied with being alive and independent though she lived among monsters.

Nytri spent the next few weeks living in the dungeon, fighting off monsters and absorbing their abilities. She battled against giant insects with razor-sharp fangs and legs that could crush boulders, trolls with boulder-like fists, and even a massive earth dragon that stood like a wyvern. But it was shown as a dragon.

Some battles were close calls, but Nytri always managed to come out on top with her wits as her secret weapon, intelligence not according to stats but the thinking as a human if she is still one at this point.

One of Nytri's most memorable fights was against a swarm of insect monsters that attacked her from all sides. With her eyesight and visual prowess, Nytri was able to dodge their attacks and strike back with construct creation, abyss abilities. Freezing and burning them as they came towards her and eating into their flesh. She eventually emerged victorious, covered in the gooey remains of her enemies, but her level had far surpassed that of a high-ranking adventurer and that was when she learned the clone skill.

But Nytri's biggest challenge came when she faced off against the final boss of the upper floor of dungeon. The monster was a giant centipede, and it was accompanied by swarms of its kin which Nytri picked them off. Nytri was caught off guard when she first encountered it, and she barely managed to escape with her life.

She spent days preparing for the fight, using her abilities to strengthen herself and studying the monster's movements. When she finally faced it again, Nytri morphed parts of her body into those of the monsters she had defeated, gaining their abilities and making her attacks more effective.

The battle was intense, and Nytri lost her legs and a part of her stomach in the process. Her arms were also bitten off, leaving only her right elbow remaining of both arms. However, with her skills, she managed to defeat the monster. She moved to the bottom floors facing more powerful monsters, especially the abyssal monsters. She ate and acquired abyssal magic and uses abyssal elements to her advantage, she also trained her construct creation skill, experimented with it and made automata which made controlling the golems easier.

In the dungeon, she had fought and defeated a powerful demon who had ruled over the monsters for centuries. Nytri had absorbed some of the demon's powers, including the ability to manipulate time and space. The demon came to the dungeon on a mission, it reported to have met adventurers on its way back so when Nytri faced and killed it, they had no idea she was responsible.

Nytri emerged from the dungeon a changed person, both physically and mentally. She had become more powerful than she could have ever imagined, but she also felt like an outcast. She had been gone for nine years, and the world outside the dungeon had moved on without her. She cared not for what happened to the world, she was now strong enough to even destroy the whole world, NOTHING COULD STAND BEFORE HER.
