Ryder woke up to the sound of humming from a distance. Sitting up, he rubbed his throbbing head as he tried to remember events from when he was previously conscious. His eyes widened as he came to realize what had happened. He had been poisoned and stabbed in the chest by Brenna, his own fiance.

"Is this heaven?", Ryder asked himself as he took in the view of his environment. "Oh..it's just my room. Seems I am going to be suffering some more in this world. But how exactly am I alive?"

It didn't make any sense that he was still alive right now as he had been stabbed though his heart.

    'What is going on?'

Ryder's thoughts soon got sidetracked by the memories of the events that had taken place since his arrival on Mageia. At that moment he came to the belief that he was just one unlucky douchebag.

When he first came to this new world, he didn't panic so much as he saw this as a new opportunity for himself. Sure he didn't believe he deserved to replace the previous Ryder, however he wanted to at least improve this guy's life if he was going to be in it. Besides back on his home world he was a nobody, this was his one chance to be somebody.

Though that didn't seem like it was going to happen. He had not even being here for up to a week and he had already disgraced low breeds and even made one of his fiancees attack him.

"I am really a loser after all", Ryder rubbed his hair in circles.

   'The humming from before.'

Remembering the humming sounds from before, Ryder realized that his window was still closed. It was morning at the moment and Biscuit would usually have opened it by now. He stood up on his feet and walked out of his room into the castle halls. The humming sound acted as his compass till he came face to face with Biscuit who was watering some flowers in the castle's garden.

Biscuit jolted backwards in shock before attempting to bend over. Though this was brought to a pause when she recalled what he told her previously. She didn't want to be a frog for sure.

'We have a garden?', Ryder took in the beautiful scenery before bringing his gaze to her.

"Is this about the window, Master Ryder? I would have opened it I promise, but they told me not to. They said you needed to rest", Biscuit confessed almost exploding in tears.

'Is that a reason to cry? Wait, did she just say they?'

At that moment, the humming sound from before rang behind Ryder causing him to turn around in a rather abrupt manner. Right in front of him were two beautiful women capable of taking his breath away.

On the right was a light skin girl with raven black straight hair. She wore a unique black dress that made her cold blue eyes stand out. He could tell right away from her looks that she was rowdy in nature. The other had a lighter skin tone with short brown hair. She was wearing a white dress at the moment and her golden brown eyes seemed to drag him in. Her looks of innocence shone it's brighest in his eyes.

'Who the hell are they?', Ryder asked himself with eyes wide open.

The black haired one seemed to realize this as she pouted her lips. It didn't take to long for her to say something afterwards.

"Don't look so surprised to see your fiancees!"

     'They are my what..!?'

Biscuit bowed in respect before walking out of the room.

"We heard what happened so we came over as quickly as we could. Biscuit informed me and Lassie over there that you had been attacked", the rowdy one spoke once again.

"Vienna, is right. I can't believe that Brenna would do such a thing", Lassie said turning her gaze away from Ryder slightly.

Hearing there brief comments about the whole matter, Ryder couldn't help but feel guilty inside. He felt deep inside that he was the one that pushed her to make such a move. If only he had acted like the person she knew. Vienna and Lassie noticed his moody look in an instant. Ryder was unaware that just like Brenna they were also experts at reading his expressions.

"She attacked you because of your recent behaviors I guess. Maybe she believed you had been replaced by a look alike", Vienna said attracting his attention. "My point is that you shouldn't beat yourself up about it. She should have never attacked her fiance even if he was suspicious. At least not alone."

At this point, it was clear to Ryder that his fiancees were based off of the different personalities in a dating sim. The shy one, expressive one and the one in between. What were the chances that the Ryder of this world would love those type of games.

A minute of brooding passed by before Ryder looked at them with an expression brimming with determination. Vienna's expression changed as well when she noticed what he was on his mind.

"You want to go after her, don't you?"

Ryder stared at her surprised before following up with a quick nod. Lassie seemed to want to say something before stopping in her tracks. She really was the shy one. Vienna on the other hand said what was on her mind without delay.

"That is a dumb idea and you know it. She literally tried to kill you, if it wasn't for the fact that you were immortal you would have been dead by now."

     'Immortal..!?'

"Why do you look so surprised?", Vienna questioned him.

"To be honest you have being acting strange. You are more expressive than your usual cold look", Lassie voiced out attracting Ryder's gaze. Not wanting to look him in the eye, she turned the other way adding to her previous statement. "Not that you aren't him or anything..."

Aware of where the two stood in the situation at hand, Ryder grit his teeth before walking towards the castle's exit. His motion was stopped however, when a hand from behind held his. Turning around he stared at Vienna who was holding him with an aggressive glare. It was so intense that it caused Lassie to back off a bit.

Vienna immediately chuckled before letting go of him and saying something he didn't expect. "You really are Ryder, after all."

'This girl definitely doesn't know her fiance!'

"We might not agree with your decision, but that doesn't mean we won't still carry out your will. You are still our Master."

Ryder's stern face softened as he heard her words. It was a good thing that they at least had respect for him. He expected them to show some sort of resistance at some point just like Brenna, though he was happy to know it wasn't right now.

"Though you have pressing issues with the academy. I don't know why but they wish to speak with you, Master Ryder."

Ryder couldn't help but wonder the same, though he didn't hesitate to nod his head. He knew he would have to find out when he got there.

"I think Lassie accompany you as an escort to the academy", Vienna suggested.

"Vienna!?", Lassie said in girly manner blushing intensely.

"What!? Just see this as extra bonding time with your husband to be. Besides you need it", she stated with a laugh.

Ryder didn't know what to think of the whole thing so he just gazed somewhere else looking all red.

"What about you Vienna? What will you be doing in the meantime?"

"Don't worry about that Lassie, I am just going to find our sister, Brenna. I think I know exactly were to find her."
