Chapter Eighteen
I tried washing them but the stains wouldn't come off. I couldn't even bring out all the water the duvet had swallowed.

I carried them downstairs to spread. I ran upstairs so my mother in law and Luara won't see me.

Some minutes later,Laura barged into my room.

"You think you are smart." She said.

I didn't know if it was a question or a statement. I just stared at her brown buldging eyes.

"The duvet. Did you wash them?" She asked.

"I wash..."

"Yes or no." She yelled,demanding a fast answer.

"Yes I did." I swallowed a huge lump of guilt.

"Then why are there still stains on them? Before I count to three,go downstairs and rewash them." She barked and I ran downstairs immediately.

I was tired and exhausted. I couldn't feel my arms anymore. I washed them throughly and spread them.

"Good." She commented and I flinched. I didn't know she was behind me.

"Now come to the living room. You have some work to do." She ordered and I followed behind her.

"Clean this up." She ordered.
