RICHARDS’S POV

I stood there, a bit nervous, as the man stared at me, his eyes wide with disbelief. He clearly didn't expect someone like me to come up to him with such a proposition. His lips pressed into a thin line, and I could see the tension in his jaw.

His bodyguards, hefty men with muscles like boulders, stepped forward, ready to throw me out their sight.

But the man, their boss, held up a hand.

"Wait," he ordered, his voice calm but firm. "Why do you think you can cure my daughter?"

I took a deep breath, steadying myself. "I have special gifts," I replied, my voice unwavering. "I can help her."

The man raised an eyebrow, his skepticism clear. "Special gifts, huh? You're saying that you are better than the best doctors money can buy?”

I nodded, but kept my mouth shut.

“My daughter has been in excruciating pain for days. The best doctors in the world haven't been able to help her. What makes you think you can?"

"I assure you," I said, meeting his gaze, "I will cure her."
