Chp 199 - Don't Do It

Isabella was in and out of consciousness for what seemed like days. She was in a cocoon of listlessness in the little time that she was aware of things around her but then she couldn’t hold on to her consciousness enough before she slipped away again. She was frustrated by the scents and hands she felt around her as something quite unpleasant was poured down her throat.

She heard voices. Voice of an angry Damien arguing with someone about her…yes, she was sure it was about her. A more boisterous voice that seemed more rational. She could have sworn that he heard Morgan’s voice at a time. Even felt that soothing presence suffused with that distinguishable, scents of Jasmine, thyme and that distinct scent she had not been able to detect; the scent of earth. Morgan doesn’t use perfume and she had only looked blankly at Isabella when she once asked her what brand she uses. She had simply said that Isabella must be perceiving the scent of her essence.
