Damien’s head felt heavy as the world around him seemed to be on a spin, well at least the room around him. Laughter rose and he was instantly reminded of the derisive laughter that he had been enduring since he got to Santa Eyre. he remembered what happened at school that day and the semi-dark room seemed to be flooded with light and suddenly he could see the faces of the boys that bathed him with paint as they shouted heads up!
