Chapter Thirty-Nine
The little girl was in the midst of climbing onto my back. I picked her up with ease and placed her in front of me.

Are children really this adaptable? "Yes, I am not your parent, I cannot take care of you."

I try passing the baby to his sister, I am not particularly fond of children, but the boy began to screech this awful sound so I placed him back on my lap.

I sighed this is quite bothersome. "We will go to Camelot, what I remember from Merlin is that Camelot is on the way to Avalon."

"Did I kill those men for nothing?" Ashley's voice came through the doorway.

"I thought you were dead." I say boredly.

"I can't die from fire, I am fire." She says matter of fact.

"Does that mean you can die by water?" I ask, smirking.

"Wouldn't you like to know." She smirked back. "Anyway,"

She opened the door wider and the man from the burning building stood in the doorway.

"Daddy!" The little girl yells running to him from across the room.
