As Mo Shen entered the classroom, most of his classmates had already taken their seats. He made his way to his designated seat located in the fourth row, settling in for the day's lessons.
He was gone for almost a week when he was hospitalized, so most of his classmates look at him curiously. None of them came and asked him about his condition because they thought that he wanted to be left alone.
"Am I not sociable?" Mo Shen realized his classmates were distant and began to reflect on his behavior. He concluded that perhaps it wouldn't hurt to be a bit more sociable from time to time. As he pondered, he understood that his lack of socializing was causing them to keep their distance.
'Yeah, I remember that I'm bad at talking before' Mo Shen remembered that he used to struggle with communication, and as he shook his head, he acknowledged his past struggles with socializing.
"It's lucky that Mia was there to take care of me," Mo Shen thought to himself. He looked up at the blackboard and saw his other classmates waiting for the teacher. The English teacher adjusted his silver-rimmed glasses and slowly flipped open the teaching materials while he occasionally scanned over the students, who instinctively behaved and remained in their seats.
Today, however, his mind is filled with thoughts. He was given a chance to start anew; he did not dwindle around when he was absent and had already started cultivating his soul so he could be more prepared for the future. Luckily, his system was still there to assist him.
The "Simulation System" was a highly effective cheat, but it came with its own set of limitations. It could only simulate accurately if the user had an in-depth knowledge of what was being simulated. But it was enough to propel him to the top despite starting at a very late age.
Now, with more time to spare and sufficient knowledge to feed the system, he has become a truly terrifying force. So if you think someone with a system is scary, that's nothing compared to Mo Shen who was sent back in time with his system.

The school bell rang, and he was snapped out of his daze. Mo Shen pushed the thought to the back of his mind. He took out the textbook from his bag and memorized the entire page instantly."It's an excellent thing I still have my amazing memory. And it seems my soul is also sufficiently powerful." Mo Shen's instant memorization ability could not be achieved by only having a good brain. His soul needed to be powerful enough to perform such an extraordinary feat.
Each lesson came and went, and the last class of the morning was about to end. Of course, Mo Shen had already memorized all his subjects before the bell rang.
"Mo Shen, what were you doing?" Mia tapped on his table.
"What do you mean?" He glanced up calmly.
"You've been flipping your books like a maniac throughout the entire class. The teachers were going to scold you, but they didn't because of what happened to you last week. Remember, our Last exam is next week already." Mia raises her voice a little. She wanted Mo Shen to take her advice more seriously.
"Don't worry, I can handle the exam." He smiled at her. Seemingly not interested.
"Are you sure? I can help you review the lessons you missed last week."
"Don't worry about me. I can easily pass the exam." Mo Shen put his hand under his chin and look out the window. His face was calm and confident.
"Hmmph, acting cool again." Mia pouted her cheek and turned around.
However, a gentle smile formed on her face when no one was looking.
Soon, the sound of the bell rang in the air, and the class was over. Students began to rise from their seats, the scraping of chairs and rustling of book bags filling the room.
"Peace is beautiful, but sadly, nothing lasts forever." He slowly rose from his seat, his eyes fixed on the beautiful scene outside. With a shake of his head, he turned to leave the room, his thoughts consumed by the knowledge that nothing lasts forever.

Mo Shen savored each bite of the meal before him, relishing the flavors and aromas that filled his senses. The food in the canteen was truly delicious, a stark contrast to the bland, unappetizing rations that had become a staple in his diet during the final moments of his life.
He ate quietly in a sea of empty rows with metal tables and chairs. Three pieces of bacon with eggs and one serving of rice were all he had for lunch. It was simple yet satisfyingly plain.
He sat on his chair, lost in thought as he considered his options. The future held so many unknowns, and the uncertainty was overwhelming at times. But amidst the chaos, he knew one thing for certain - his system could be utilized more freely now that was sent back in time.
He began silently contemplating the information he had about the future and how to better utilized them.
Mo Shen realized that before he could reveal himself to the world, he needed to increase his power. He had a plan to establish his own organization, but to do so, he needed to become stronger and operate from the shadows.
In order to achieve this, he plan to search for talented humans and imparted to them the skills they would need to survive the impending apocalypse. His ultimate goal was to turn them into hero-level cultivators, capable of standing up to the challenges that lay ahead.
With a heavy sigh, Mo Shen shook his head, frustration evident on his face. He needed to find a way to earn more money to advance his cultivation, but couldn't act impulsively with his powers. The world is full of hidden forces and if he was discovered too soon, it could lead to trouble. This was a delicate balancing act and he had to proceed with caution.
Right now, he can already cast a myriad number of spells. These spells are also more potent than their counterparts because they've already been optimized by the system."The food is getting cold; I might as well finish my meal first." Mo Shen chuckled when he realized that he still had some food on the table. He was so immersed in his thinking that he forgot that he was still eating.
"This is delicious." Mo Shen scooped up a spoonful of rice and stuffed it in his mouth. His gaze moved as the students in the cafeteria came and went, but things were mostly boring.
"Mo Shen, why didn't you wait for me?" Mia forcefully drops her tray on the table. The sound of the tray hitting the table caused the other students to look in their direction.
"I was starving," Mo Shen said, rubbing the back of his head. He felt a sense of comfort knowing that Mia was still just as bossy as ever. Nothing had changed.
"Hmph," Mia pouted, her cheeks puffing out, before starting to eat her lunch.
"Mo Shen, you idiot," Mia muttered under her breath, her words barely audible to normal humans but clearly heard by Mo Shen.
A smile formed on his face.
Mia looked up, noticing Mo Shen's smile. "Why are you smiling?" she asked.
"Nothing, I just find you adorable."
"What!!!" His comment caught Misa off guard. Since when did he become such a sweet talker?
Mia felt her cheeks grow warm, so she quickly looked down, avoiding Mo Shen's gaze.
"Idiot, if Shin finds out about this, he will get mad." Mia tried to voice her concern. But her head was still bowed down. She couldn't bear to look at him directly.
"Is there something wrong with what I said? I mean, most people would find you adorable. If I said otherwise, then I would look like a liar."
Mia found herself at a loss for words, feeling both embarrassed and pleased by Mo Shen's seemingly endless stream of flirtatious remarks.
"I have to go now. I have to check something. Eat your lunch so you can grow some muscles. You look so weak." Mo Shen notices Mia's dilemma, so he decided to leave.
As Mo Shen walked away, Mia couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. On one hand, his flirting made her feel lighthearted and happy. On the other hand, she was afraid of what would happen if she let her feelings get out of control.
She knew she had to keep a tight grip on her emotions or else there could be consequences. With these thoughts running through her mind, Mia gazed at Mo Shen's back as he walked away.
Mo Shen had a busy day at school and was eager to continue his training to strengthen his body and improve his skills. The first thing that came to his mind is Mount Ming. Mount Ming is a dormant volcano between Incheon and Seosan. It's a tall mountain that faced the sea and had a lot of natural resources. Places like this are abundant in natural energy because they have all four major elements. He walked towards the station and boarded the train. His priority is to strengthen his body.Mo Shen sat near the window seat, looking at the old highways that connect the two cities. He could see the vast highway that quickly flew past him. The bundle of flowers and herd of birds on the railings reminded him of his past life.Mo Shen gazed at the ocean in front of him, sighing as he remembered a time when the platform was guarded by hundreds of cultivators. Doo."Next stop, Seosan ." The announcement jolted Mo Shen. He grabbed his black-colored bag, got to his feet, and stood up. Then he he
Mo Shen beamed with satisfaction as he felt his newly transformed body. He now had a more muscular physique, with bulging muscles that could be clearly seen through his clothing. This transformation was a significant change from his former average build. It was a good thing he had a spell to reduce his muscle mass. If not, Mia will surely be surprised to see such an abrupt change. After spending a night reinforcing his newly improved physique, Mo Shen went back home. Just as he expected, his body had become more vigorous despite not sleeping. He feels fresh and full of energy. The feeling was something no ordinary human could achieve."The improvement in my body is good enough to fight Martial Warriors. With this strength, I can go forward with my plan to earn more money."He was worried about the interruptions of big sects. They had a covert organization that dealt with individuals who broke their rules of confidentiality or cultivated without authorization. This group was known for
It was already 5:30 pm by the time they arrived at the mall; the sun was setting and casting a warm glow over the city. The night lights of the city had started to twinkle, creating a beautiful display. Meanwhile, the mall was bustling with activity, with people coming and going from its stores and restaurants. "Mo Shen... "Thank you for saving me back then." She tried her best, but she still mumbled some words. She was too self-conscious and did not know what to say."It's ok, it's nothing." he calmly replies while checking the menu. He never considered that incident a big deal after all. "What will happen now?" Mia's voice was still shaky from being overwhelmed. She realized the consequences of their actions."What do you mean?" Mo Shen continues to read the menu, he wants to taste some sushi. He was craving some Gunkan Maki, Sasazushi, and Nigiri paired with some cold ginger ale"That guy, Nathan, he's the son of a very wealthy family; he might do something underhanded."Mia's co
A series of muffled sounds can be heard over the roofs of multiple buildings. His body flickered while the darkness of the night covered him. His movements were so swift, so elegant, yet so deadly. It was like seeing death descend on earth. That's what he thought an overpowered main character in a novel would do, but Mo Shen was different; he would not do something so stupid and unnecessary. He took a cab and went to Nathan's house like an ordinary boy with a normal working mind. Power is everything in this world. And regardless of how much knowledge he had, it will be useless if he doesn't reach his full potential. He can't be complacent just because he had an arsenal of spells at his disposal. He was like a nuclear reactor without enough uranium to work properly. "Oh, so this is his house?" Mo Shen smiled the moment he saw the mansion. His eyes shine as if he had discovered a gold mine. As he approached the massive gate, he took note of the intricate details that adorned it. Th
Mo Shen rested in bed, his gaze fixed on the phone screen as he scoured the internet for information about an antique auction. While scanning the posts, he stumbled upon an advertisement for an auction being held the next day, Saturday, at the Incheon Golden Auction House. There was a multitude of items for sale, including a blurry picture of an ancient sword that dates back to 1000 AC. "If my calculations are correct, the money should be available tomorrow," he looked at the time and put down his phone. Mo Shen whispered a spell to himself, "Hex: Sleep." He closed his eyes and felt the magic of the spell wash over him, easing him into slumber. ***The soft glow of the sunrise creeps through the window, illuminating the desk with a warm, yellow light. Mo Shen inhales deeply, feeling the comforting embrace of the morning's warmth envelop him. After breakfast, he changed into his daily clothing. He wore a white jacket that has a print that resembles a Sakura tree on its left side
At dusk, more than a dozen luxury cars were parked in front of a large, traditional Chinese-style building. The building is a grand, traditional-style structure with four levels. Its architecture is adorned with classic elements, imbuing it with an elegant, timeless appearance. Mo Shen, wanting to blend in with the wealthy crowd at the event, made the conscious decision to hire a black limousine for the day. He knew that arriving by taxi would have drawn unwanted attention and made him stand out. The driver opened the car door for Mo Shen, who stepped out of the limousine with grace. His every movement was imbued with elegance and commanded respect. No one would question his presence, as his aura alone conveyed confidence and power. In fact, many of the ladies present were drawn to him, subconsciously attracted to his charm. He ignored the women's gazes and continued walking toward the entrance. He deemed them unworthy of his attention and was more focused on the presence of four
Inside the auction room, a handsome young man and a stunningly beautiful woman were locked in a gaze.Mo Shen remained composed, studying the beautiful woman's words for any hidden meaning. His thoughts spun with possibilities, each with its own motivations, but he held back, waiting for her response. She smirked, "Relax, I'm just curious about your demeanor. It's intriguing."Mo Shen's tone sharpened, "Can you be more straightforward? The word 'interesting' is getting old."Her smile never wavered in the face of Mo Shen's harsh words, showing that she was not easily perturbed by his rude behavior."Please, let me introduce myself first," Bao Chin said, extending her hand with a smile that lit up the room. Her allure was undeniable, but Mo Shen remained unaffected. "I'm Mo Tan," he replied, giving her a false name as he took her hand in a handshake. "Bao means 'treasure' in Ancient Chinese. Your Chinese heritage is apparent, but your Korean proficiency is remarkable."Mo Shen comment
The slow pace of Mo Shen's work was particularly frustrating as he was trying to upgrade an artifact by several levels. The task was a challenging one, requiring precision and skill, and the limitations of his abilities made the process all the more difficult. If this had been in the past, Mo Shen could have evolved an artifact like this in just a quarter of an hour by relying on his mana reserve. But now, he had to monitor his output and input of mana to avoid over-exhaustion. He also needed to be very mindful of his mana circulation and the amount of mana he used for each cycle, making sure it was not too much or too little. Mana exhaustion is something all cultivators strive to avoid. Mana and life are intertwined, and the overuse of mana can lead to not just exhaustion but also serious damage to the body and, in extreme cases, death. This challenged the traditional beliefs about mana and reinforced the importance of being mindful and controlled in its use. He was carefully regu
