Flames of Madness

After taking the bath, he excused himself from Zera’s flat and went to the streets, to see how much the city changed after two months.

For his disappointment, nothing changed much. There’s still the same streets, the same people…

He didn’t knew what to expect, but he supposed, wanted, to at least see some difference. To, at least, see that he mattered in someway…

He eyed the castle above the mountain top, the same one where the Magic King inhabited, a small smile playing in his lips.

‘I may not be important now, but… soon.’

Then, he smelled something good from some stands away. Walking towards it slowly, he eyed the door and smiled at seeing the restaurant food. He was about to enter, but stopped himself.

Touching his pocket, he sighted as he felt no bulge in them.

“I’m hungry…” He sighted, only then noticing that he was surviving out of holy water for a month. ‘When did things get so problematic.’
