Although Dream suggested doing some experiments, he and the girls took some time to settle down a bit more. It had been an emotionally and mentally taxing 5 days for all of them, and a bit of recovery was in order.However, for these three, recovery usually involved them going out and fighting demons, allowing Iris to eat, gather energy, and send it to them. But doing this required them to activate their powers, and the girls were still skittish about the thought. After fighting for a long while and venting his anger on the demons, Dream eventually wiped them all out, and having calmed down, he decided to go back up to the factory.As they were heading up, Sophia gave him a rundown of the general global situation. Turns out, the armies were making great progress.From what Sophia had heard, the human armies were planning on pushing all the way to the landbridge. From there they would hunker down, stabilize their position, and then focus on recuperating at home. After the battle at the stronghold, the Human Empires made a full retreat. They hunkered down in the cities and didn't come out. However, they were still able to find out about the nukes. It was difficult to hide such destructive weapons anyway.Dream made sure to do exactly as he said. No demon settlement was spared except for the ones with less than a few million. Those would be either taken out by his soldiers or the girls. All in all, none were spared, and within a week, most of the demons on the demon continent had been wiped out of existence.The whole thing caused Dream to sigh. He hadn't kept the war going out of personal gain. He wanted to let the Empires strengthen. That's what was so different about this world.
