Chapter 17 How Are You Planning to Deal With Them?
Ysabella looked at Tyrone in shock. She whispered, "Are you crazy? Do you think you're really rich after getting that commission?"

Felicia glanced at him, ridiculing, "You're going to pay? Look closely at the bill. It's 1.3 million dollars, not 130 dollars."

As she was speaking, the young man walked in. Noting the hostile atmosphere, he frowned. "What's going on here?"

Seeing Mason Bennet, Felicia felt even more confident, as she'd increased the restaurant's sales by 10% today. So she said delightfully, "Mr. Bennet, these people are refusing to pay the bill."

Mason glanced around the room, and his gaze stopped on Tyrone. Stunned, he turned to look at Felicia. "You're saying these people are trying to eat for free? Are you fucking blind?"

If Felicia hadn't been a woman, he would have kicked her. Instead, he said frostily, "I'm officially firing you."

Instantly, all the color drained from Felicia's face. She even felt dizzy, unable to believe what was going on. So she asked, "Mason! Why would you fire me?"

"Mason, have you gone mad?" Ashley quickly put away her phone and argued, "My sister is a dignified young lady and a daughter of the Rich family. Don't forget that our families are very close."

"Young lady? I can't keep people like you here."

Then he turned to Tyrone. "Ty—"

"Mr. Bennet, thank you for helping us at such a critical time. I saved you by chance last time, so you don't need to take it to heart," Tyrone interrupted him.

"Huh?" Mason was dumbfounded briefly before returning to his senses and cooperating perfectly with Tyrone. Putting his arm around his shoulder, he said, "Well, I can't let my friend be humiliated, right?"

As he spoke, he looked at Felicia and Ashely. "How would you like me to deal with them?"

"Friend? When did the useless bastard become friends with the famous Mason Bennet?" This question rang through Yasmine and Vania's minds, while Ysabella seemed to have remembered something. In the past, Tyrone had told her that he'd saved Mason once, but she didn't know the details.

On the other hand, Felicia felt embarrassed. Her face was pale, and she was still in disbelief.

"Mr. Bennet, I don't care what your relationship with this pathetic bastard is. Our families have a long-standing relationship, and we also have a good business relationship with Slycon Group. Don't you think it's inappropriate to treat me like this?"

"Stop with your bullshit! As for the cooperation between the Riches and Slycon Group, I've told you that it's over. Don't keep showing up in front of me, assuming that I'm clueless about what your family intends to do. I'm not interested in you at all!"

Everyone was shocked to hear Mason. Many looked at Tyrone, who looked calm, wondering, "Is his relationship with Mr. Bennet already so close?"

"Mason! Do you think you can represent Slycon Group? Can you take accountability for what you said?" Felicia yelled hysterically.

"I can."

Looking at Mason's serious expression and the fact that they were outnumbered, Felicia stopped. After taking a deep breath, she nodded and led her sister away.

"Stand right there. Did I say you could leave?"

The moment Mason spoke, the security guards blocked the exit of The Gardens. Mason was their boss. If they had followed Felicia's orders and taken Tyrone to the police station, they would have gotten into trouble. Mindful of that, they looked at the Rich sisters with unkind gazes.

By then, Felicia was regretful. She wouldn't have stirred up trouble if she'd known how close Tyrone and Mason were. Suddenly, she blamed Ashley for this mess.

"This dude must be crazy. If he's such good friends with you, why is he living off his wife's family? Mason, what are you actually thinking?" Felicia was mad.

Mason sneered, glancing at her. "Didn't I tell you that he decides what to do with you? So, Tyrone, what should we do to them?"

Everyone looked at Tyrone while he glanced at the table filled with dishes and smiled. "Why don't we let them pay the bill for this meal?"

"Okay!"

Felicia widened her eyes in horror. "Bastard, you better think twice! Do you know who I am? How dare—"

"Security, get the credit card machine," Mason ordered without letting her finish.

Soon, Felicia was handed the card machine. "Please pay the bill, Ms. Rich."

Outnumbered, Felicia gritted her teeth, took out her credit card, and successfully paid the 1.3-million-dollar bill. After that, Mason chased them out, and the private room finally quieted down.

"Tyrone, you and Mason—" Ysabella looked at them suspiciously, feeling as though they were hiding something.

Just as Tyrone was racking his brain to come up with an explanation, Mason laughed. "Ysabella, it seems that Tyrone hasn't told you about it. Back in our university days, our basketball club organized a camping trip, and I accidentally fell into a deep pit. If Tyrone hadn't saved me, I would've died in the wilderness!"

Hearing that, Tyrone gave a bitter smile, thinking it was a waste that Mason wasn't a writer.

"Ah, is that so?" Ysabella nodded dubiously.

Meanwhile, Vania was thinking that any other guy would have bragged to everyone about saving Mason's life. However, Tyrone had remained humble and never mentioned it. Suddenly, her impression of Tyrone improved, especially after how manly he'd been earlier.

The four of them left The Gardens in Vania's car. After they left, a young man with a gloomy expression walked out. "Hello? Marcus, I've transferred the money to you. I think it's time for you to take action. If you succeed this time, I'll pay an extra bonus."
