Chapter 6 Kicked Out of the House
Ysabella's father was from a rich family, but he'd been kicked out ten years ago because he hadn't been good enough. Now, he was managing a company under the Vaughn family business that was almost on the brink of ruin. Yet he was an authoritarian at home.

"What? Dad, you're kidding me, right? Move out? Why?" Ysabella stared at her father in shock.

"Because I'm the owner of this house." Yannick put down his cutlery and looked at Ysabella without a hint of humor on his face.

Then he glanced at Yvan, who looked pleased, and said, "Your brother has a girlfriend, and they're about to get married. She told us that she doesn't like a crowded house and hoped that no one else would stay here other than the four of us."

"Dad! How can you—"

"Hear me out. I've considered this matter seriously. Of my three children, only Yasmine is still in college, and she's living in the dorm. As for you, you're doing great. At least you can afford to rent a house."

"Why should I go out and rent a place?" Ysabella slammed the table.

Furious, she complained, "Our villa is about two thousand square feet! There's still plenty of room for us to stay here. Don't you think she's crossing the line by requesting such a thing before even marrying into the family?"

"Hey! Ysabella, you shouldn't say that. She's your future sister-in-law. Be careful with your attitude. Also, you're married. I mean, although he's useless, you can't ask us to feed and clothe your husband, right? You can do whatever you like if you love him so much, but we refuse to be responsible for him." Yvan started to complain on behalf of his future wife.

When he finished, he rolled his eyes and turned away, clearly intent on ignoring anything Ysabella had to say to that.

Suddenly, Yannick slammed the table. "Enough! This matter is sorted. Besides, we only have one son, and this house will be his in the future. It's a done deal, so what's the point of you fighting over it?"

"Yes! Ysabella, you're earning quite a lot. It's not like you can't take care of yourself," Belinda chimed in.

"I'm fighting? Dad, don't you think you're being biased? I've paid for all the household necessities for the past two years. So tell me, why shouldn't I fight for it?"

Tyrone quietly pulled Ysabella away and whispered, "Ysabella, stop it. I think it's a good idea for us to move out."

Yvan gave Tyrone an appreciative glance; actually, he'd been worried that Tyrone would fight for his inheritance.

"Bullshit!" Ysabella cursed and gave Tyrone a slap that instantly silenced him.

"Is this your way of protecting me from getting hurt? Pathetic!" Throwing away her cutlery, she stomped back to the room, while Tyrone quickly followed her. A few seconds later, the rest of the family heard Ysabella's screams coming from her room.

Yvan smiled and didn't take it to heart. When he saw his parents' unhappy expressions, he quickly served them some more food. "Dad, Mom, just ignore them. Let's continue with dinner. Come, have some mashed potatoes. I have to say, Tyrone might be useless, but he's good at cooking."

Late that night, Tyrone quietly got up from the ground and walked to the bed. He felt distressed when he saw the tears on Ysabella's face and how she was frowning in her sleep.

Gently, he touched her hair while muttering, "Ysabella, you won't feel wronged anymore if we move out of here."

Then his gaze fell on her beautiful curves, but he forced down his desire. It was difficult, and he felt uncomfortable after resisting his urges for more than two years after getting married.

"When will this suffering end?"
