Joel knew his days were numbered after finding out that Lydia was ignoring him. He immediately put in work and successfully scammed her, as she withdrew all her money from her bank using his accomplice. He also decided to run away with the money from her family, the money he took from them in the name of investment.

Lydia sat in her office, resting on the chair, swirling around. She kept regretting her decision, realizing Marcus was innocent all this while. She kept wondering what to do.

Then, her door was barged open, and she was startled. Her secretary was breathing heavily and sweating.

"What the hell is happening?" she demanded, feeling very anxious, sensing that something big was about to happen.

"Ma'am, you have to see this. The financial management department states that all the money in the server has been withdrawn," she stated.

Lydia immediately stood up as she heard this, frowned, and slammed the table. "What do you mean? What are you saying? Who withdrew it?
