Hales frowned after he found out that he had been betrayed, not even that, he was deceived; this was Sophia's plan from the beginning. She wanted to make him fall for her and then split, and he just fell for it.

The police officer stepped forward and brought out a handcuff, "Mr. Hales, you are under arrest for abetting and endangering people's lives. We just heard your confession. You have the right to an attorney and the right to remain silent."

Hales just stared at Sophia, who was busy eating. He sneered, "I will return, and I will make sure to kill you."

The police officer added to his charges, "And the..." The other police officers tapped him to get up, and he gently did as they slammed the handcuff in his hand. Everyone in the restaurant watched as they took him out, leaving only Sophia and others in the room.

Kathie sat in front of Sophia, "Are you enjoying the food?"
