The light from the submarine stopped the attacking sharks for a second but they were more brutal in their next blows. It’d be hard for Lexa to drive with the nonstop blows but she wouldn’t give up. I could still hear myself screaming even after we stopped. Elliot rolled his eyes and placed his hands over my mouth then kissed my neck.
