-Adrien's pov:-

We finally got there. Everyone grabbed their bags out of the car they've put it in.

I checked to see how many people had backpacks and had hands free to carry some of the camping stuff.

Three, three persons had hands free, that'll do.

"Millie, Tom and Warren. Can you three come help me over here, I need some hands." I asked as polite as I could.

They came. "We'll need to carry these two gas bottles, two tents, and these crates filled with food and drinks."

I quickly realized this wasn't gonna work as I hoped it would. Some people are going to have to walk multiple times.

It was a two mile walk so that would be an awful lot of work.

I guess we'll have to deal with it seeing we don't have any other choice.

I handed Millie a gas bottle and the other bottle I handed to Warren.

I gave a tent to Tom and carried the other tent myself.

"Alright, it's a walk of two miles so make sure you have some water in reach." I told everyone before leaving.

We walked deeper inside of the woods. We weren't allowed to drive here so that's why we had to walk.

Silas whipped out his phone and tried to text someone.

"Why won't I get service?" He asked aggressively.

"It's due to the high and many trees that are blocking the signal drastically, plus it has rained yesterday so the leaves are wet blokking it even worse." Said James. "I've done my research." He finished.

"So you're telling me we'll be here three days long without signal?"

"Well, yeah."

He put his phone back into his pocket and sighed softly.

It was really fun to see who'd walk with who.

James immediately came to me. Millie, Lola and Jasper walked together, Silas and Tom also did, not to forget about Warren and Walter, at last we had Elijah, Jack and Esper next to each other.

Of course we were walking in a big group but the group quicky kinda divorced into 5 duos and trios if you get what I mean, it's kinda hard to explain.

"How's your car ride been after my little inconvenience?" I asked.

"Well the first half was horrible, not because I didn't like the people in my car don't get my wrong I can really find it with them. It was just really overwhelming having to pay attention to the navigation, hearing six voices around you, needing to keep track of you and also not get into a car accident."

"I'm sorry I should've used a navigator too but I also really need to be having a charged phone for if anything goes horribly wrong."

"Adrien you just heard what I told Silas. I'd be really surprised if you're gonna be having even a tad of service in these woods." He said. "On the other hand I do have bandages and syringes with me for if anyone gets stung by some sort of insect." Finished James.

"I'm so stupid, I should've brought that with me, I'm responsible for everyone here." I said filled with quilt.

"I knew you'd forget that's why I have it Adrien, besides, we're responsible not only you. I'm not feeling like putting that pressure on you so you're not alone here."

James had always been like this towards me. He always had been and always will be the best friend I've ever gotten.

"Thank you, you really don't know how much that means to me, really."

"Oh I do know how much that means to you, that's why I say it." He joked.

I laughed. "Of course you do."

"Oh yeah almost forgot to tell you, I'm really proud of you, honestly. When we started planning I had zero faith you'd pull this off. But the more the progress you made the more and more I started believing."

"So you didn't believe in me at first?" I teased.

"You know I didn't mean it like that." James uttered.

"I hope you know I would've never been able to plan all this if it wasn't for you. Without you I would've never become the person I am now, I'm proud of who I became and all of that proudness is there because of you and I would never know how to thank you for that."

"Wow let's not get emotional here." Exclaimed James.

"Ur right, let's not." I murmured.

"Ur right, let's not." Mimicked James.

"Did you just mimick me?"

"What are you gonna do about it if I did?" He solicited.

"What if I'll kill you?" I offered.

"In that case, no. No I didn't mimick you."

"That's what I thought." I brought out ending the conversation.

-Walter's pov:-"

Two miles. Two whole miles. It was thanks to all the mud and wet dirt we weren't allowed to drive to our camping sight.

I knew I should've taken less stuff. My backs were so damn heavy.

"Do you have this sort of uneasy feeling? I just feel like something bad is going to be happening soon." I asked Warren.

"No Walter I do not. You're just a paranoid person, try to calm down, it's not like we're going to die or anything. James probably has his aid kit with him so we're good." Warren replied.

"Still, it feels odd."

"Walter stop thinking about the bad things when you only have good things upon you. Adrien invited you for a reason, it's because he wants to have fun with you."

"But what if-"

"No, stop." Interrupted Warren. "Have you drank anything today?" He asked trying to chance my subject.

"One glass before I had gotten on my train." I replied.

He grabbed a water bottle out of his bag.

"Here, drink some of mine. You'll need it." He insisted.

I hesitated a first but after took a few sips before handing it back.

I noticed his bottle had a built-in compass. Don't know why but I found it pretty cool.

"Thank you."

"Don't make a deal out of it!" He spoke smiling.

-Millie's pov:-

Still couldn't believe it, two miles, that's a lot to walk with, including your bags for an entire camp.

But I did have company so it wasn't the worst.

"What have you been doing lately Millie you haven't been live in ages." Asked Lola.

"Oh you know, I've just been really busy with filming video's and trying not to lose friendships that's all."

"I guess that's fair." Added Jasper

I overheard a conversation with Silas being irritated about not getting any signal. I didn't know that would be a thing but I don't have any problems with it, I guess it just makes the experience better.

"I really appreciate our friendship by the way." Announced Lola out of nowhere.

"Well, yeah, so do I but it came a bit out of nowhere. Save it for the serious situations okey?" I responded.

"Oh okey Millie, I see how it is. You know what, once we'll get in such a serious situation I'll make sure I'll say it again."

"Do your thing." Responded Jasper.

I saw Millie and Jasper make eye contact and both turning red very obvious.

"Do you two have something to tell me?" I asked confused.

They both looked at each other busted.

"We're, dating." Replied Lola carefully.

I saw Jasper smiling at me hoping to get a supportive reaction.

"So, I'm officially a third weel now?" I asked them back.

"Well, yeah. But we don't mind, we've just begun dating so we aren't that close yet."

I just smiled at them knowing I was a tiny bit yealous.

I grabbed my phone to do a attempt on checking my messages but forgot about the inconvenience about the signal in these woods. I quickly put my phone back into my pocket and started a new conversation.

"What do you guys hope we'll be doing on these days?"

"I don't care at all, as long as people know how to keep a tent clean I'm fine with anything. Seriously, I can't take it if people get into my room and make a mess so I won't Like it if someone makes our tent dirty." Uttered Jasper.

"I really hope we'll do a card game with everyone at a camp fire or just sing songs at a campfire with everyone. I've always dreamt of doing that." Replied Lola. "What about you Millie?" She finished.

"I don't care, as long as I get my sleep."

"Oh yeah of course when aren't you asleep?" Queried Jasper.

"I mean, as far as I'm concerned I'm awake at the moment." I answered.

"What if you're not?"

"I am."

"But what if you're not?"

"Guys what the hell is this conversation." Interrupted Lola.

"If I'm gonna be honest with you Lola I don't even know."

We had some laughs but all things come to an end eventually. We had arrived at the sight.

-Tom's pov:-

I immediately found my way to Silas and started to walk with him.

After all, he is my closest friend and I am his best friend.

But I don't think I wanna remain friends, I so badly want to take our friendship a step beyond friends. But I don't think he feels the same about me though.

Although we both aren't really types to start a conversation we still find our ways, somehow.

Silas did quickly grab his phone which honestly, wasn't that big of a surprise to anyone.

"Why won't I get service?" He asked aggressively.

"It's due to the high and many trees that are blocking the signal drastically, plus it has rained yesterday so the leaves are wet blocking it even worse." Said James. "I've done my research." He finished.

"So you're telling me we'll be here three days long without signal?"

"Well, yeah."

He put his phone back into his pocket and sighed softly.

"Is it now time to socialize with me?" I asked him.

"Yeah sure whatever."

I love to see him grumpy, he acts so dumb it gets funnier each time.

"So, how are you? We haven't quite spoken lately." I asked making the beginning question.

"I suppose I'm fine. He replied boldly. "You?"

"I'm great! I've recently been hanging out with friends often so I had a great time." I answered.

"Sounds fun."

Normally he talks way more, I'll just let him cool down from that awful news about not receiving any signal.

-Jack's pov:-

Two miles, that's do-able. I usually go for a walk every single day so two miles is a piece of cake for me.

"Are you excited for this trip?" Asked Esper.

"Yeah I'm hyped! Just not quite excited about setting our tents up." I responded.

"I'm down for anything honestly. As long as I get my own explore time." Replied Elijah.

"Elijah if you bring your stupid adventure up one more time I will make sure my lawyer hears about this."

"And what's he gonna do?"

I made sure to stay out of this argument so it wouldn't be used against me later.

"It's a she. And I'll make sure that she makes sure that you'll never ever want to bring up any expeditions ever again."

"Sounds exciting when are you going to call your lawyer?" Asked Elijah.

"Once we'll get out of these bushes."

"Who said we'll make it out of these so called bushes?" I stepped in Ominous.

The others just stared at me like I had just commuted a murder or something.

"Chill, I was just joking."

"Just to clarify, you're not planning on commiting arson or murder?" Queried Esper.

"As far as I'm concerned I'm not." I replied.

"Well I have to believe you for now."

After that conversation it got awkward.

Remember how I said it would be a piece of cake? Well it wasn't. But luckily, it ended sooner than I thought it would.

We were there.
